The political debate is one thing. Economics is a social science.

Religion in other hand... Is religion. We do not have "rights" or

"wrongs" < the entire subject could be labeled as "subjetive".

Therefore the only thing the board would be about is "you need

Alah/Jesus/Buddha/Whatever". Besides that, the only idea I can

think of is a "this is my religion" which explains it, but for that,

For example, there were 2 funny krystal pics that were pulled and got me a telling off. One had Krystal and renamon cosplaying each other. Renamon is normal, but Krystal is freaking out about she's only wearing gloves. She's covering herself, but it was pulled for nudity. Another was a funny comic taking the mic out of Krystal filth. Also pulled.

well then we have people faking their age.  And I'm pretty certain there isn't a way to fix that without having to give out very sensitive information.

You don't have to talk about religion for moral discussion to get out of hand. The exact same thing goes for politics, environmentalism, business, and any number of non-Star Fox subjects. Heck, even some Star Fox discussions get out of hand, but at least that kind of the point of this forum.

Mr Krystal, of course!, we won't implement those new subforums without considering the proper moderation first, I personally want to go on vacations without being too worried about the site turning into chaos, so, if we ever implement the new subforums, then we need, at least, 2 active full mods, and we currently only have one semi active full mod. On another note, I'd suggest fixing the RP problem first before getting this thing going on, which will probably take a while if we want to be careful ( as in, considering the rules, new mods, and overall planning).

Kursed, seriously, people faking age, gender and even location exist everywhere in the internet, and I bet you five bucks that it happens here as well. Also, the invitation to  the new subforum WILL be optional,  if you don't like the idea, you won't have to deal with it, like with the staff boards, you won't be seeing those new parts of the forum. The point for said boards is to implement a more mature way to see things, and let's remember that mature doesn't mean "instant sexual themes or super deep political topics". To make it more clear to you, I won't be allowing any kind of porn in those new places, discrimination of ANY kind won't be allowed as well, if we have people, let's say, going "I'm catholic and you are atheist so you suck" they will be instantly banned from the subforums, we are looking for valid points of view and more "intelligent" ways to discuss things, we aren't looking for anything else. As for the "NSFW" subforum, I'm not sure if that's going to be a good idea, I don't really support it, so don't worry about it, we will NEVER have any kind of yiff in this forum.

You wanna know why I support this?, because mainly, we have a lot of age difference in the forum, we have kids, teenagers and adults, and we all have different points of view based on matureness and experience, and sometimes, the topics from the off topic forum go into the wrong direction because people suddenly go offtopic being silly, and certainly, that's ok for some members, but not for everyone else, I for once, would love to have a civilized discussion about something without the random "ololol barrel roll!" popping every once in a while, I know, it means no harm, but it's not needed all the time.

I'm mainly against the 3rd subforum here.

and my point about the age thing is  yes we have people that do that  so we need to consider that.

My idea would be: replace that subforum for a more "mature" art place, having in mind that porn and yiff won't be allowed, nudes will need to have a reason, as in, only for an artistic purpose . Of course, the limitations will be lower than our current art boards (like the ideas DZ pointed a while back ago). Again, this would be the last idea to consider, so I'd rather worry about the first 2 subforums and then deal with this one, since it needs the most planning.

Politics, Philosophy, and Religion (PPR) are not as volatile as you think when rules are established. OCRemix has a PPR board, and it doesn't spread crap out, and OCR is like 50 times our size. Plus, as I said earlier, I'll be on the board practically all the time. Flame wars will get nipped in the bud. Of course, it would be opt-in as well. If you don't want to see those threads, you wouldn't have to.

It's going to be an invite forum Kursed...how many times do we have to make that clear? it won't affect anyone that doesn't want to be there, and any association between that forum to the normal one won't be allowed, what stays there, stays there.
