Wii Kicking

Meh, if Nintendo doesn't have a new system focused around the hardcore gamer again, I don't think I'll be buying.

The Wii is perfectly capable of doing hardcore games, its just that most of the hardcore developers choose not to develop on it due to the hardware limitations when compared to 360/PS3. They want to make games that look amazing as well as play amazing.

Nintendo wanted to keep the buying price down so they could tap the casual market, so therefore they didn't make the machine as advanced as the other two.

I think next round they need to go ahead and fall back to the hardcore crowd, and make an advanced machine.

I disagree. It's not a graphics problem, but a money one. Why spend a million making a game when cheap crap will sell more.

I buy around 2-3 wii games every year. And I'm happy with that. For me, the wii is not kicking.
