Unicorn or Pegasus?

I just noticed and wondered. More people like the unicorn than the Pegasus. Which do you like better, and why? i mean, Pegasus only have wings, and those can be cut off. Unicorns have horns, they could hurt you, even. What is the thing in the unicorn or pegasus that makes you like them? The wings? The horns? They are just simple parts, so why bother?

So, Pegasus or Unicorn, and why?

I am not much into fantasy stories to say

I like one or another, but the Pegasus

comes from Greek myths, while the

unicorn is a deformation of the Rhino.

That is right. During the middle ages,

the best idea you could get from a distant

land was a story a sailor could tell you.

Thus, when tales about the rhino came

to Europe, they were described as "...A

creature likehorse with a single corn on it´s head."

However it survived into fantasy stories.

The Pegasus has a constellation named after

the Greek myth.

Random trivia, people used to kill Rinos because they had horns, and Unicorns had horns. Therefore Rinos are Unicorns. Therefore Rino horns must be magical. Therefore if they killed the rino and took the horn they would have magic. Just another example of how the superior intelligence of human beings.
