Guest Julius Quasar Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 I'd like to have:Fox: Great pilot, son of legendary James McCloud, yet still humble enough to accept helpful advice, even from an enemy ("When the time comes, don't hesitate, just act!"). I also like his "shoot first, ask questions later" attitude.Falco: Highly skilled pilot, independent, yet still acknowledges his limits, boundaries, and the chain of command. Also stands tall, no matter how terrifying the situations.Krystal: She's a decent pilot, a good fighter, and A TELEPATHIC PSYCHIC! (And she's a blue vixen, how cool is that?)Fay: She's a medic. And a pretty awesome pilot.Miyu: Skilled pilot, excellent mechanic/technician. Plus, she's not annoying, and doesn't constantly get in the way or get into trouble, requiring someone to bail her out.Leon: A master of disguise, highly skilled assassin, and very slippery, hard to shoot down. Andrew: He's useless, annoying, and can't fly, fight, or even do mechanic/tech stuff. Plus, I friggin' hate monkeys. Andross: He's selfish, crazy, has a serious ego problem. Plus, I friggin' hate monkeys. Beltino: He should stick to tech stuff. Bill: He's not that good a pilot. He doesn't really help you at all on Solar (after you helped him win Katina). Dash: Associated with Star Fox Command....no thanks! Plus, I friggin' hate monkeys! Fara: She's not too good a pilot...hell, she got shot down by the Attack Carrier, for cryin' out loud! That's, like, the easiest boss to beat! Also, she can be a bit immature, and can get int he way sometimes. She's cute, but not a pilot for my team, I'm in it to win it. James: Let the dead rest in peace, although if he appeared in ethereal, shimmery form, and said "Fox! You must go to the Degaba System!" that might be pretty funny! Katt: Competent, but she tends to get in the way. She is somewhat helpful, though, but still... Lucy: Associated with Star Fox Command....no thanks! Lucy's daughter: Associated with Star Fox Command....no thanks! Marcus: Associated with Star Fox Command....no thanks! Panther: Piss poor pilot, acts like he's slick, all talk, a bigmouth, a big head, all flash...may as well recruit Zapp Brannigan. Pepper: "Gettin' too old for this s***." Peppy: "Gettin' too old for this s***." Pigma: The guy's a crappy pilot, and a selfish backstabbing cowardly traitor. It's no wonder Star Wolf kicked him out. ROB 64: He's a good mothership pilot, but he can't do combat flying. Slippy: He can be really annoying, and he's a piss poor pilot. He is a good mechanic/techie, but so is Miyu, and she's not so friggin' annoying. Slippy's son: Associated with Star Fox Command....no thanks! Tricky: Good ground force unit, especially with a setup like Asper described, but....he can't fly a spaceship. I'd want a team member who can do that. Tricky makes a good honorary/affiliate member of Star Fox, though. Wolf: He gets confounded by a simple loop-de-loop...that's a basic fighter pilot maneuver, how can he miss that!? "What the heck!?" Vy'drach Posted May 5, 2010 Share Posted May 5, 2010 I went with:Fox - Because you can't have Star Fox without a McCloud.Krystal - She was a perfect addition to the team, in my opinion, and I can see great potential for the story if they were to pursue the unresolved issue of her past. (I hope I hope I hope)Falco - The arrogance and rebelliousness seems fitting of a mercenary unit, where as everyone else makes it seem more like a super-hero thing rather than mercenaries.Slippy - It's Slippy, I mean c'mon, Slippy is legit.Miyu - Pretty much the same as Falco, but I have a feeling Miyu would be a more extreme version of his personality.Fay - Fay happens to remind me of Mihoshi from the Tenchi Muyo/Universe animes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mihoshi), probably due to her hair style and the thing Fay does when you select her in Star Fox 2 (where she points with her finger), something that Mihoshi does frequently in the series. This happens to make me think of her as a good hearted, kind natured, loyal.... airhead. Someone who gets by on luck more than skill (much like Inspector Clouseau from the original Pink Panther movies), kind of a female version of Slippy, without the engineering know how. You are not lame at all, good sir. As of Assault, the team is quit great. I admit I love the idea of Marcus joining the team to fight along his parents and the same with Slippy and Falco's possible offspring, but I love the current team (as of SF:AS) the best. Seriously, I do like the Six-membersSF team (if we count ROB64 as a member).I would like to see Peppy flying too, just becausehe is old does not means he has too be lazy .And ROB64...
