Guest DRL
No problem, and I'm surprised you live in another country and speak English so well. Here in southern California, it's basically like this.[image]English has become the second language here. And I'm sure that Julius could confirm it, since he lives nearby.ROFL!!! Well, English is taught as a secondlanguage at schools here...We have weird combinations.E.g.: We have "Delivery(s)" Video'Games'... 'Sport' Clubs....I, however, kind of allways had a knack for foreinglanguages.Fun fact: In primary school, =EVERYONE=would want to seat close to me in an Englishtest, and I found myself in the difficult situationof inventing an excuse to avoid others copyingmy same answers...Also, my first steps in English were videogameRPGs... No really, I learned first words from Shining Force II.What makes me a weirdo, I think, is that I canactually tell the diffence between accents, andtell where you are from based on that.Did you know?Canadians, Americans, and English allpronouce diffently the word "Thunder". Vy'drach
Doesn't surprise me, different regions here in America have different pronunciations, though I believe that is mostly due to when America was being settled, it depends on the people that settled there. Vy'drach
That's a pretty handy ability. Not sure the entire range of positions that require that talent, but I know that sought after ability with spies.
Asper Sarnoff
Thanks for clearing that up Vydrach. DRL isn't the only one who had never heard of "dweebs" before.I'll say I'm mostly weird, with a solid bit of geek thrown in.
rainfyre66
Probably mostly a weirdo, or a geeky rebel. I don't seem to fit into any certain heirarchy, that was actually troubling me a bit today...
