Vy'drach
I was just randomly thinking about my favourite comic book guys, Iron Man,(Man it was hard to find a good picture of old-school Iron Man, what with the movie being out soon)and the Juggernaut.Iron Man is my favourite Marvel character ever since my dad explained why Iron Man was his favourite. Apparently, in one comic, the Incredible Hulk was going on a rampage, and everyone was trying to stop him, and was getting their asses beat down. Even Superman couldn't stop the Hulk (Not really sure how Superman was there, since he's DC, but oh well), and remember, the madder the Hulk gets, the more powerful he gets. So after Superman failed, Iron Man came in and just knocked his ass right out, done deal. Everyone, even Superman, failed to stop the Hulk, but Iron Man did it without even breaking a sweat. And the Juggernaut is also a favourite of mine, ever since I saw the X-Men: The Animated Series episode where Mystique releases him from stasis, and he smacks her out of the way and just walks down the train tracks as a train is coming at him full speed, and rams straight into him. It doesn't even make him flinch, and he just backhands the entire train off the tracks, and keeps walking. Then Professor X goes on to explain that the Juggernaut is entirely unstoppable, except by him, unless his helmet is on (which he clamps on), and that the last time he stopped the Juggernaut nearly cost him his life from the strain it put on him. Let's recap why he's a badass: He's unstoppable unless you're Professor X, and even then only if he's without his helmet (which I'd weld on if I was Juggernaut), He is ridiculously strong, to the point where he took a fully loaded train off the tracks with a single backhand (you always see Superman and the Hulk and such strain to lift a single car with both), and he does not run because he doesn't need to run, he will get you.And as far DC goes, I only ever really liked their villains, and my favourite would be Killer Croc from Batman (Batman has the best of the DC villains).*WARNING* I'm linking the image because there is some blood coming from the corner of his mouth (and I doubt it's his), and just how scary the damned picture is, even though it actually came from the Batman comic books.http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/7296/killercroc.jpgAs far as why I like the Killer Croc, I mean just look at him (if you happened to click the link), if not, here's the backstory on him a bit.His real name is Waylon Jones, born with a form of atavism that imparted him with reptilian traits. His parents grew to loathe their child's hideous appearance and brutal behavior. While still an adolescent, his father abandoned him in the wilderness. Croc survived, becoming a remorseless sociopath. And his physical abilities are awesome.Jones was born with a condition resembling epidermolytic hyperkeratosis, a disfiguring skin disorder. However, it is actually a form of regressive atavism, meaning that he has inherited traits of ancestral species of the human race, such as reptiles. This condition has been augmented by the presence of a metagene. Consequently, he has several extraordinary physical abilities relating to his endurance, strength, and speed. His skin is hardened to the degree that it is nearly impenetrable to ordinary forms of abrasion including high caliber weapons fired from a distance. He possesses a degree of super strength; for example, he was able to tear a bank vault door off of its hinges with minimal effort. He has demonstrated regenerative powers allowing him to heal and restore lost limbs and teeth. He possesses superhuman reflexes and speed, especially while he is moving underwater. Killer Croc also has an enhanced sense of smell.Oh, and he eats people. Frequently.
