Chrono Reaper
Personally I don't know whats all this hate about a portable video game, its not like any of the people who hate it were forced to buy it. I think Star Fox Command was a good game, not the best game but it deserves some respect. They cant put everything you want in a Star Fox game, it would be unfair to other people who would want the same in what they want in the game as well. It seems childish complaining about it when the game has been out for years now. Star Fox Command was in a way unique and fun, well worth some replay value compared to the linear Star Fox Adventures and Star Fox Assault, it had multiple endings just like SF64, instead of having 2 there was 9. Do I consider this game cannon? Of course, it was officially licensed by Nintendo, even though it seems unlikely any of most of these plots will follow through the next chronological Star Fox video game in a linear storyline. After all we had shows like Star Wars and Star Trek notoriously for their many alternate universes, and they were still considered canon. The biggest confusion with Star Fox Command I believe is that people are confusing Canon with linear Storytelling. I believe that Nintendo wanted to satisfy all SF fans by letting them decide what suits their favorite ending as best as they can think of. Besides it's Nintendo, what did you expect? Honestly this isn't something to waste breath over, Nintendo knows what the fans want, but try convincing them to focus more on a unique Star Fox video game than another Legend of Zelda gimmick Shigeru Miyamoto adores so much. Better yet, if people think they can do better in making a good Star Fox fan game than an official one, more power to ya.
