Guest Ian Rubin
(Because it's stalled on AL, that's why...) "This is CNN reporting live from ISA headquarters in Louisiana. The ISA is preparing to launch the next part of it's ambitious Mission: Space project; a year long voyage to the outer reaches of manned exploration that may leave the galaxy....Ian Rubin was quoted as saying, 'This is man's greatest journey, and I'm proud to be a part of it. It's like Star Trek...'" Oh good, you made it. Come in and have a seat. Look, you were at the top of a VERY long list so, don't screw up: there's a lot of hot shots waiting to replace you. Let me introduce you to our mission. We'll be launching from Cape Intrepid here in Lafayette in a few weeks. We'll launch in one of these: the X-2 Deep Space Shuttle. You can keep that little model, I've got tons..... Anyway, we'll dock with the Global Space Station and load the X-2 Enterprise into the bay of this beauty right here. That's the Phoenix. Part of the Solaris line, and based on the Centaurus design. Nice huh? That was the original Centaurus rocket. The Solaris looks just like it, only it's six miles long. Had to be built in orbit obviously. We'll have the three X-2's on board for situations where the Solaris is impractical. The Phoenix is the newest ship in the ISA fleet, and it'll be in constant communication with Earth unless something bad happens. Now, this is the most important part: this trip will take a year and maybe more. Even though we are self supporting, nothing like this has ever been attempted. I can't let you know more until you're in the program. If you can't do it, the door's right there............................. I knew I could count on you. Look just put your name, age, species, gender, occupation, any other information we might need, and all previous space flight experience. Sign on the dotted line, and get over to training. Oh, and here's my file in case you're interested: Here's me and my crew's info: Name: Ian C. Rubin Age: 15 (Don't let it fool you, I'm really good at what I do.) Species: Human Gender: Male Occupation: CEO/ Owner of Lafayette Inc., Director of all ISA operations Location: Lafayette, LA Other: I wear glasses, have brownish black hair, wear Hawaiian shirts, am going out with a vixen named Vixey.... This is getting WAAAAYYY too personal.... Other members of Lafayette Inc. Flight Crew: Ice Gator: The blue, skiing alligator mascot of Blizzard Beach. Damn near the best pilot in the galaxy! Croco Xarranax: Big crocodile, navigator, also a rock star. Do you like Saur Loser? Lagoona Gator: Ice's brother, except he's tanish brown in color. Best surfer in the world, mascot for Typhoon Lagoon. Figment: Mascot for Epcot, purple dragon, yellow eyes, orange wings, blah, blah, blah..... Eski Alopex: Arctic Fox. 18 years old. Gets depressed often, great engineer though. So, Do you chose to go or not?!

Guest Ian Rubin
(I also want to make this quite clear: I would love it if you could make slightly long posts. Not just one or two sentences. This is starting to make my blood boil on other web sites. An RPG, in my opinion, should be a little like group fiction. Let's try to make it that way. I've heard people tell me that the long posts are boring. They might be, but they let others get a more complete and accurate idea of what's going on. Also, please try to use good gramar and spelling. And finally, none of this: we' date='have barely any food,we don't have any shelter really, and the pilot, which i liked,is DEAD!plus we have no connection to General Pepper to let us know that were here.YEAY. hey kara,..Yes? why did you just scream yeay?uummmmmmmmm.... because I...heard music, yeah, good ol' rock 'n' roll!...do planets normally sing? No,hot shot,PLANETS DO NOT SING!!!.......Why is it singing then?I don't know,we should all check it out though.[/quote'] If I see that occouring, I'll go AWOL.... Sorry if I sound strict, but I want this to go well and for a long time.)
