Ever see that guy who eats a McDs every day? You could use him as a harpoon he's so thin.

Yeah, there are some people with freakishly high metabolisms

After last night though, I won't eat at the local McDs anymore unless my friend Steve is working, a these two girls behind the counter kept talking to each other in Spanish and glancing over at me, I don't like not being able to understand people

Not meaning to get political, I will leave it at this, when you speak a language that most people around you do not understand, it is like talking behind their backs

Getting a tad bit off topic here, guys.  :offtopic:

Okay. Like I previously said,

Meet Real-Life DRL.

There is my grandmother.

She thinks that since I am not fat,

I do not eat enought, and therefore,

I am weak.

That is one of the most stupid things

I ever heard, really.  :banghead:

I would learn French, and would speak it if I moved there, vacation is another story though, Id learn French to get by and speak English with my friends though

Lets get back on topic

Talking to a friend just now who is a mech at a Jeep dealer, a lady comes in because her Jeep Liberty is making a funny sound, well, she bought the vehicle new, and went a little over 50,000 miles without changing the oil!!!

LOW MAINTENANCE DOES NOT MEAN NO MAINTENANCE

Needed a new engine, the oil was caked everywhere, worst part is, her warranty covered it

I'm one of those people with super high metabolisms.  I can eat as much junk food as I want but never gain any weight, it's scary somewhat but I'm thankful

Of course I'm trying to change that habit

Once, I lost 10 pounds within 8 hours simply  because I won't eat that dang corn flake cereal up on the shelf.  :x This happened when I was in New York. I live in Florida.

What's really stupid is something I read not too recently in Time magazine:

Schools now want to bribe kids into doing well.  Ridiculous.

Doesn't surprise me, I remember reading an article about how in Utah they want to get rid of Grade 12 because they assumed that kids just goofed off most of the time anyways and because they wanted to slash their education budget. >_>

You know, they've been doing that in various ways for a while now.

At the high school I attended, they would let us get out of Finals testing if we didn't have failing grades and perfect attendance. Downside to this, it doesn't prepare us for college and finals testing there. What a way to prepare us for harder schooling right?

Unfortunately, most of my generation feel like they are entitled to everything their parents got, but without working, they won't work hard to get anywhere, it saddens me that America has gotten like this

That way is okay, but what I mean is, schools actually wanna bribe students with money in exchange for good grades.

You said it...

Calvin: "I've got an idea, dad...Maybe I'd get better grades in school if you offered me $1 for every 'D', $5 for every 'C', $10 for every 'B', and $50 for every 'A'!"

Dad: "I'm not going to bribe you, Calvin, you should apply yourself for your own good."

*Later*

Calvin: "Rats, I thought I could make an easy 4 bucks...".

I remember reading about that recently.  The hilarious thing is that law in Arizona is under a lot of scrutiny for racial profiling....people just don't seem to get it :/

I'm in favor of that law.  I'm not racist, I don't hate immigrants, but I, along with 2/3 of Americans, favor that law.

Many other countries of the world have similar laws like that.

You see, they say 1 of 3 people are dumb.  Well, roughly 1/3 of Americans oppose that Arizona law.  Food for thought.

:P
