Dark Fox
Yea, it was 2:00 AM when I made the wolfen...... OMG.... It DOSE LOOK LIKE AN X-WING, CRAP!!! I just got some screen shots and the vector image that Dahster made, so this next attempt shold be better. ps- the arwing is SF64 style and was origanally blue trimed, but I changed it to match I game I'm making (the fanfic for it will come out first, once I can find a file hosting site, It's ten pages long and a bit big to cut and paste)

Dark Fox
Yea, RL, It took me an hour to render the takeoff for the Arwing Experimental (the prototype of the Switchblade)......he he, now making one with textures and better cockpit for the dogfight.....I'll post a pic here when I get the chance.....where would I stick the AVI so you guys can see the fireworks. Dark Fox
Annoncement-- YAY, I've crahed my computer while doing an all-night render at 800 by 600 for the Switchblade....holy snap....... I do have this still image though http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/282/arswitchbladebkgrnd7bg.jpg watch ou, it's kinda big..... hope you like, if my comp ever gets more RAM, I MIGHT BE ABLE to RENDER a video of the wings closing (the wingsstart to clsee, then just as they are getting clsed the blue parts flod flat, to help you imgane...) used the pic with my ne si!g!! Dark Fox
Glad you like, this is the prototype, I am working on a hi-res version.... with mechanical linkages to the body and wings, textures,ect.... should be fun! My social security # will most likely expire before My PC is done rendering THIS one .
Mr. Krystal
Meaning you'll die I've heard of Anim8tor, but you should really look at using Blender. It's relatively fast rendering. To do something of this complexity, it only took up like 15% of my processor time.
Dark Fox
huh, I have blender, but I didn't think of using it to render (the interface just bugs me on that on....not shure why....) Itrenders using YAFRAY, so it dosn't suprise me.... could try povray (omg, how did I not think of povray........) thanks --off topic-- check out Dark Shift and LFC Vs. Lylat........need some posts on them......please :(
Guest Mithos Kionisu
looks nice, but i would suggest stretching the cockpit forward abit so it looks more streamlined then blunt

Orbital Fox
Nice job, I see it's in your signature now. It looks terrific, I've never been able to make stuff like that, I can't find the sofware to do it, but even if I could, I'd be too lazy to work on that... too busy playing games. Dark Fox
My first spacecraft took 5 mins, so with a simple free program like www.anm8or.com anm8or you can do it easy, then grduate to blender or povray......
