I just wanna know in which harry potter book or movie is the best for you. I put some separate choices for the movie versions of the books, since some people like the movies better. The last movie ain't released yet, so there's no movie option for the Deathly Hollows.

I voted the movie version of Goblet of Fire, since that, for me, is the most action-packed movie yet.

I also voted for the last book. Nice ending.

I saw most of the movies...

I have to say the Half-Blood Prince.

I loved the moment of the zombie hand

coming from the water... I remember,

EVERYONE in the cinema jumped back  + :D

Azkaban, without a doubt, was my favorite of the movies.  I stopped reading the books after the 2nd; they just take way to long to finish.

loved the effects in that movie, especially when the Patronus was used.  and let's not forget that hilarious shrunken head with the Caribbean accent..

"'Ey; if ya 'ave tha pea soup, make sure ya eat eit before eit eats you. HahahahahAAAAAAH!!"

XD

I also liked the Azkaban movie, but there are some parts in the book that they didn't do in the movie, even though it was just easy. But still, there are some humorous moments there.

Hermione punched Draco!

Never liked any of the movies, and grew to dislike the books as time passed, and they still kept coming.

I am a huge fan of the books. I love all seven of them. :D As for my favorite of the books, I kind of like 2 and 3 equally.

As for the films, I absolutely love the first 2 films, Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber Of Secrets (the latter being my personal favorite in the whole series). They were 2 of the best book adaptations I have ever seen. :D

But the movies descended into utter mediocrity and crap after that. :( I know many will disagree, but Azkaban onward were not good films to me. They just left too much of the important stuff that that made the books great IMHO.

My input...

In my more cynical days, I refused to like Harry Potter out of sheer principle. But, as I began to re-embrace my love of all things geeky, I decided to read the first book that my friend had gotten me, and liked it, then got the rest of them and quickly finished reading the series. Favorite book has got to be Half-Blood Prince, for the films Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite.

The Sorcerer's Stone film is a perfect family fantasy film. The music and atmosphere are all spot on.

As for books, the best is bar none Order of the Phoenix. Suspenseful, powerful, and I loved how heroic everyone was.
