I like Grand Theft Auto Vice City.  You get to take over a bad guy's mansion, buy assets, and be a leader.  The music, the 1980's theme, AWESOME!

GTA 3, you don't even get to own the Cartel Mansion after you win, and all your friends are dead.  How depressing is that!?

GTA San Andreas, as much as I like not having to deal with "Greetings from" pause screens, the game, music, the main plot, the characters....blech!  (I did like the music from KDST and from Radio X, but that's it).  Also, your Carl character needs too much maintenance.  The action was good, and some of the main and side missions and side mission series were really awesome.  But all in all, no thanks.  I hate hip-hop culture, and anything with its theme.

GTA 4, never played it, seems cool, but the alternating plot form the "choice" you make is kinda..."not my taste"...also, one of the hottest chicks in that game either dies, or hates you forever, and you lose your brother.

L/C and V/C Stories, lame...

Chinatown Wars, man that sucked....the guys own Uncle betrayed him the whole time, what the hell!?

Lost and Damned...meh...

So how's about you?

Well I played GTA 3, Vice City, and

I have not finished Chinatown Wars yet.

I have to say that I like (for now) CW,

althrought it is a shame Ling died (and in

such a lame way).

For the moment Vice City seems like the

best to me. The only flaw is that after

having my own guys I expected to see

them in action more often, but that is

probably me.

Totally!

I mean, my guys do protect me when I go into my assets on Haitian gang turf (Print Works, Cab Stand), and one time when I stole the counterfeiting plates from the syndicate, they chased me in their cars all the way to the print works, and my guys shot at them and killed them, as I ran to the loading dock and delivered the plates.

They were still fighting out in the streets and parking lot after the mission.  My guys won. :D

But, yeah, I wish they had helped more in the last main mission.

Vice, the only game where porno is dirt cheap boob tube, the music is memorable, the scenery is pink and beautiful to look at and the closest things to steal DeLoreans.

Best mission I enjoyed was the mission, "Dildo Dodo" when you had to fly the plane spreading leaflets and then after that the PJ600 stunt mission where you had to jump from building to building to activate the spotlight and place a overlay ad of CandySuxx. XD

Lost and Damned, because I just love bikers and this one REALLY caught my attention.  Also, the guy in the gang that was TOO loyal to gang boss just got under my skin too much...  Really hated that guy.

(Oh, and Julius, you forgot the Ballad of Gay Tony)

Played GTA 1, GTA 2, GTA 3, Vice City, Libery city stories and San Andreas. Only finished San Andreas tough, and it was the most enjoyable one for me. Perhaps because I treated them more like huge sandbox games with huge modding capacity than a game to play straight trough for its story, even if I did that as well.

GTA4 and the expansions packs seems quite cool, but that'll have to wait until I get a PC which can handle them.

Until then, I'll go with San Andross.

Not a big fan of the GTA games, but I'd have to go with Vice City and GTA 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Yeah, that biker guy was annoying.

(Yeah, oops, thought I missed one or more, that's why I added the "Other" option.)

Hi,

GTA 1 was ok, it was the first GTA game I've played.

GTA 2 is great. It is one of the funniest games ever! Especially when playing it together with some friends via LAN. And this is the only game which is far better WITH cheating!

Never played GTA London and GTA 3.

Vice City is ok, but after I finished it I stopped playing.

San Andreas is the best game so far. It hat a huge map, many many great missions, good humor and I also liked the role play elements. I've finished the game on 100%, that means every single main and additional mission (police, taxi, driving schools...), have all stats on max, exported all necessary cars, conquered all gang-territories, collected any photos, tags or whatever there was to collected and any other thing, that needed to be done.

GTA 4 is now some kind of different to SA or VC. It is a good game, but it is much darker than the others. And it is much more difficult. The graphics are, but the PC-version has a very bad performance. The game was originally designed for XBox360, the PS3 and PC version where just ported from 360 - and it was done very bad.

"You're not a great leader Johnny!!!  Billy was the better leader!!!  You don't know what you're doing to the gang!!!"

Me:  How about I shove this DB Shotgun into that gaping mouth of yours and see how long it yaps after the trigger is pulled!!!

(Yeah, don't worry about it.  I was quite...  Disappointed with the Ballad of Gay Tony.  It never met my expectations.)

Wow, I just remembered GTA2 had a fart/burp button.  Hehe, the time I wasted playing around with that

I have Vice city, and i played a fair amount of San Adreas, but i haven't finished either of them.

So until i beat both of them, i'm going to have to go with San Andreas on this.

As for GTA4, well i'm wondering if my computer can handel it or not...

Oh man, Vice City...I can't deny that was a pretty badass game, but I'm actually sorta traumatized from that whole series because of that game. I had a shitty ex-boyfriend who would spend hours playing that, and never let me try. Gets pretty old watching someone play it after awhile.

I was never that chick who whined for her boyfriend to stop playing and "pay attention to meee", I usually fell asleep after awhile (and I like sleep, so that's cool yo), but I think it's more of the association of video game to said loser ex-boyfriend that turned me off from the franchise.  :(

I'm sorry to hear that, your ex boyfriend is a real ass****.  You deserve better than that.  It's one thing for a guy to constantly play it, but it's really bad if he won't let someone else try, what a selfish pig.  If my girlfriend wanted to play it, I'd let her play.

I'm glad so many people like Vice City, that is an awesome game.  Vice City Stories suck, but Vice City itself...awesome!

Sucked when their clubhouse burned down. :(

(Yeah, BoGT was a letdown...such a shame, too.)

I like IV, and Vice City, III always annoyed me (Mostly because of the lack of manual aim), but the general gameplay annoyed me too), and I never got into San Andreas. There was too much "tacked on" stuff in SA for it to be fun for me, also I am with Julius and hate hip-hop. Also, GTA IV has my favourite car, the Viper (which they call the Banshee).

Right now though, I am having fun with Grand Theft Equestrian (Officially called Red Dead Redemption), which is awesome.

Dude, it has been so long since I played GTA IV because I've beaten all of the campaigns, and I am not starting to call the game by several different meanings.  Starting with:

Grand Theft Aqua-  Hijack a boat and ride around.

Grand Theft Air-  Steal a helicopter and ride around.

Grand Theft Heist-  Start a cop war anywhere.

Grand Theft Speed-  Start a police chase in a fast vehicle.
