Option 2 seems the most viable considering the lack of character discussions also that it would open up a more general discussion that doesn't just pertain to the games but the people in it too.

I'm in favor of #2, as well.  I strongly oppose #3.

You should be able to, as long as the topic is relevant to the board itself.  Hence why option 2 is the most appealing, Krystal topics would be relevant obviously and it would save the extra "work" (aka a few mouse clicks) of moving the board to the archives as is option 3.
