Sol-Ratcht Saporro
I see exactly where you are coming from but there can be exceptions. Sure, in my opinion the true key to successful leadership is team loyalty, mental clarity and emotional control. Right he shouldn't outburst during a mission but afterward, I believe he should let it all out. To me, throughout the games it seemed like all he was doing was bottling it up or just letting it go altogether. You don't say anything to the man responsible for leading your father into a death trap, assassinating your mother and causing havoc and chaos all around the lylat system? That doesn't seem weird? It's like he was expecting all of this to happen and he's just like, "Okay whatever, time to kick your butt and get paid. Blah blah blah, let's rock and roll."I believe he's going to lose it one of these future games. Then he might do something epic like have a 3-on-1 shodown with Star Wolf to end all battles! Not like that's happened before but when emotion is thrown in to the mix, it has the potential to be one of the more memorable highlights of the SF franchise. I have to watch that cutscene again to remember how Fox reacted to Peppy sacrificing himself but I can tell you, I don't think Fox was close to losing it or I would have remembered. The only time in Assault that Fox came close to losing it was the Aparoid Queen and her bringing up the important figures in Fox's life and that was nothing. I've seen better displays of anger from simply name calling.LOL no problem. I love when members get together to put their feeling into a analyzing post. It makes for good conversation! I look forward to more responses though. Although being wired for 24 hrs is not a good thing. Get some rest!

Guest Mr. Mario
I would like Fox more if he finally knew how to flirt with a girl (Krystal). A mission together at last. Oh...uhh...yeah. What are you 2 doing? Let's go!

I don't doubt that at SOME point he'll lose it, No on in this universe can totally bottle all emotion without recoil, hell the Vulcons (startrek), can't even due it properly. The scene where peppy gives himself for the team, Fox had cried out, "Peppy...you can't die!!" literally reaching out towards the Great Fox as if to try to touch peppy one more time......but once Peppy hit the barrier Fox soon snapped himself back into the mission at hand. I must admit, I forgot that scene with the Queen...(HA It rhymed lol) anyway, now that you mention it, he did almost lose it. Funny part was when he thought of Wolf out of nowhere and it too snapped him back. I personally LOVE Fox as a leader. He has lost so much, been through so much, yet he keeps fighting. I only hope that if they try to make a series using Marcus...that he too has the same leader ship skills as HIS father. And thanks, gotta a good nights rest after that rant, but had to be at work early the next day lol. rainfyre66
Fox is a little bit underdeveloped, but I think they purposely keep him as the generic hero role. I like it best when they give him the more mercenary edge, like in Adventures or even SF64.
CrypticQuery
He's EPIC, PERIOD. Although I do believe that Nintendo should do something to branch out his personality at times. Whenever I think of Fox, his Assault and 64 look, and the same for the voices.I'll take Ratchet (Ratchet and Clank) as an example, they play the same styled hero-esque roll, but Ratchet's personality is CONSIDERABLY more branched out and developed than Fox's making Ratchet a character that you would care about more.
