The Purple Dragons

In this topic I will post my story, chapter by chapter, titled, 'The Purple Dragons'.

Most of you will certainly guess it instantly on whose story I'm gonna base this on.

First of, Summary:

  In the Dragon Realms, Spyro wants to have a vacation. He wants it to be as peaceful as possible. Professor makes a portal so Spyro can go to the Dragon Beach. Sparx, Hunter, and Elora will come too.

  Meanwhile, in the Dragon Temple, Spyro wants to go to the vacation too. Cynder wants to come with him. Ignitus opens a passage portal so Spyro and Cynder can go to Sunny Shores.

  In a dark place, miles away from the dragon Realms and Dragon Temples, a dark dragon wants to kill both purple dragons. Using his Dark Magic, he intercepts the two portals into his own, so the two purple dragons will be in his land. A land where people believe that purple dragons are terrorists and murderers...

  Will the two dragons be able to conquer this new danger?

Chapter One: Who Wants a Vacation?

Dragon Realms. a world where dragons live in peace and quiet. It had been threatened many times, and numerous problems aroused. All of these were conquered not by the elder dragons, nor by the mature ones, but by a young, little, purple dragon with just a dragonfly for protection. His name is Spyro. The dragonfly's is Sparx.

These two best buddies have conquered many dangers and faced many enemies before, and has never been to a proper vacation. Now the two are sleeping on a top of a cliff, having a great dream. Seconds later they woke up.

"Ah, good morning, Sparx!", Spyro said, standing up.

"Guuud morniiiinn' tuuuu!!", Sparx said, flapping his wings

"Had a great night?"

"Yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhh!!"

"I still wish we could go on to a proper vacation", Spyro said, his head bowed.

"Why dooonn't weeee seeeeekk thaat mole?"

"Professor?"

"Yeeeeeesss."

"Yeah. Right. Why didn't I think of that? He could make a portal for us. Come on, Sparx, let's go."

With that Spyro charged away, Sparx following him.

  Meanwhile, in a castle, 6 dragons live. Their world has faced great dangers before, but only a purple dragon, accompanied by a dragonfly, and a black dragon managed to save their whole world. The purple dragon is named Spyro, too. The black one is Cynder, wile the dragonfly is named Sparx as well.

 

  It was night, but Spyro is still wide awake, thinking. He had never experienced fun before. He wanted to go someplace where he would have lots of fun. Sparx and cynder will come, of course, but what Spyro was worried about is how and where would they go. The whole island is not in a good condition since Malefor had risen.

  Then he had a sudden idea in a single, mind-blowing second. He turned and went back inside the temple, seeking Ignitus.

Chapter 2: The Portals

  "Oh hi there, Spyro," Professor said, as he saw Spyro and Sparx coming towards him. "I was just developing my first multi-location portal here," he added happily, and gestured to the triangle-shaped portal beside him. As Spyro looked at it, he suddenly said, "About time, Professor."

"What do you mean, my boy?", asked Professor

"Can we use this portal?"

"What would you use it for?"

"Well, we want to go on a vacation.." Spyro started to explain

"... and you want to use this portal?"

  The Professor had finished the sentence for him.

"Well, yes."

"You see, I'm just about to finish it.", Professor said. "And it will take some time."

"How long do we have to wait?"

"About two hours," Professor said, then started to work on the Portal again.

"We can't wait two hours," Spyro said weakly, but not weak for the Professor not to hear.

"Why don't you hang around with Hunter and Elora while you wait?"

"Ok"

With that, Spyro charged away again, Sparx following him, wondering whether he could make Hunter and Elora at least join him this time.

Spyro went to Ignitus's room as quiet as possible, then knocked at the door.

"Ignitus?"

"Come in, Spyro."

As Spyro entered Ignitus's room, he found a spiral thing on a half circle-shaped platform behind the red dragon.

"What is that?", Spyro asked

"Oh, this is a teleportation pad. Potal for short," Ignitus explained. "I have been working on this for days since you beat Malefor. I know you wanted a vacation."

"How did you know?"

"I am the new Chronicler, remember?"

"Oh. So.. so.. d- does this portal work?", Spyro asked

"Of course. Anytime."

"Alright! I'll go tell Cynder."

With that, Spyro left Ignitus's room, his heart thumping rapidly.

Chapter 3: Dark Portals

  In a dark place, miles away from the Dragon Realms and miles beneath the Dragon Temples, a dark figure is using dark magic on a pair of separate portals, and muttering to himself.

  “These two purple dragons must die. I have waited long for this. And I will destroy them both…”

  He raised his claws, and a purple-and-red smoke went to the portals, interconnecting it with the Dragon Realms and Dragon Temples. Another flick of his arm, and the two portals vanished, and the two appeared at two random locations at the land where the dark figure lives.

  In Dragon Realms, the Professor had finally finished the portal, and jumped with glee. “I did it, I did it! Spyro’s going to have a vacation!!!” With that he ran off to where Spyro went, but he didn’t see the portal glow red for 2 seconds..

Chapter 4: Through the Portals

  "Why not? You have this month free," Spyro said excitedly. He spent nearly an hour to get here, and now he has to hurry. He is persuading Hunter and Elora to go with him.

  "There are other dragons out there", Hunter said, his voice shivering. "You are our only friend."

  "I can take care of that....", Spyro replied.

  "Look, Spyro, I don't have .." Elora started, but stopped instantly when she saw Spyro bow his head.

  "So I'll have to go alone again..." Spyro said, his voice lowering.

  "Look, buddy, we didn't say we won't come, just-"

  But before Hunter could continue the sentence, Spyro cut across him, his voice rising excitedly.

  "So you're going to come?" Before Hunter or Elora could even answer, Spyro said, "Great! Professor is finishing the portal"

  Hunter and Elora fell silent. After all, they kinda want a vacation too...

  An hour later, they were in front of the Portal. Sparx is flying close at Spyro's side. Very excited, Spyro entered the portal first. But as soon as he entered, he felt a sudden, whooping sensation which was quickly replaced by pain. He felt as though something, or someone, was pulling his horns, very hard, to a place he doesn't see. Seconds later he felt a sudden tug to his tail. Screaming in agony, Spyro looked at the direction of his tail. He... they, were being pulled to a red-and-black portal. He flapped his wings, hard, trying to get away, but the portal seems to be a kind of a black hole, eager for its meal. Spyro had no choice but to protect himself and Sparx by folding his wings. They, Spyro and Sparx, were going through the portal.....

  Finding Cynder and Sparx wasn't difficult, as Spyro turned to a closed room, he saw the two, looking curious at Spyro's excited face. Spyro cleared his throat, then said, "We're going on a vacation"

  "You're kidding", Sparx said

  "Really?" Cynder asked excitedly

  "I'm not kidding, we're going on a vacation. Ignitus just made us a portal so we can go there." Spyro explained

  "Then, what are we waiting for? Let's GOOOO!!!", Sparx said, and raced towards Ignitus's room.

  They were in front of the portal. "Spyro and Sparx will go first, Cynder... the pad could teleport only one at a time, but sparx is very small for it to notice.", Ignitus said calmly.

  As Spyro stepped into the portal, he was suddenly pulled... and very hard. Sparx grabbed on to his tail. Spyro screamed ina gony as he felt that someone, or something, is pulling him by his wing, towards a place he can't see. He looked sideways, and saw a portal. coming in fast. Spyro tried to fly away, flapping his wings hard,but it just won't work. He braced himself, as the portal swallowed him into nothingness...

  As the two Spyros woke up, they are in two separate locations, staring into darknes...

Yeah, I feel suspense too.... I just make up the chapter names and the story as I post more chapters, but it works for me... :lol:

Chapter 5: Missing Dragons

  Peaceful, and a beautiful sight. The water splashing, a bright and sunny day, and the white sand. Just when you thought dragons' beaches are bad. Hunter and Elora got through the portal Professor made. They are in awe as they saw the beach. They walked around, admiring the beautiful sight.

  "It's great here.", said Hunter. "Let's go surfboarding, shall we, spyro?..... Spyro!?" As Hunter turned around, he didn't see Spyro. He looked around, and saw no sign of the purple dragon nor the sparking dragonfly.

  "Don't worry, Hunter, Spyro's probably in the cottage right now.", Elora said. Hunter agreed reluctantly.

  As they entered the cottage, they saw many dragons. They all stared curiously at Hunter and Elora, positively puzzled on how a faun and a cheetah got there. Hunter and Elora stared back. The dragons are wearing Hawaii-themed shirts and pants, some holding surfboards, and some wearing party hats. They were obviously getting prepared.

  "Uh... hi," Hunter said, raising one arm to elbow level.

  "Good morning", Elora added, then waved a bit.

  The dragons are still staring. Hunter came closer to Elora, then whispered, "Where is spyro?" Elora glanced around, then said nervously, "I... I don't see him here.."

  Suddenly one of the dragons spoke.

  "Who are you two?"

  "Uh.... I'm Hunter, and..."

  "And I'm Elora.."

  The Dragon stood up. He was a tall dragon, and one of his wings is abnormally small. He walked around Hunter and Elora, who were rooted to the spot. "We knew somebody came. There is a portal here, and I would know whether someone would go through. We expected another dragon to come here. This is the vacation season for us.. and then what did we see? A pussy cat and a goat! What is your intention here?" He asked menacingly. Probably the dragons thought they were intruders.

  "Uh.. we want a vacation.." Hunter started, but Elora cut him off.

  "A dragon.. Spyro.. he said we could come with him... when we got through the portal, he was gone."

  "Gone? while going through the portal?"

  "I..I suppose so."

  The Dragon suddenly turned to face the other dragons, then said, "Prepare the machines! He is back!!!"

  A sunny beach. Perfect for vacation. Cynder just got through the portal, and now staring into the most beautiful sight she's ever seen. She enjoyed herself around, flying, playing, and suddenly, a thought hit her like a speeding bulldozer.

  Spyro is missing.
