I might not be around much

because ...it's a secret. ;)

Nah, just kidding. It's summer, and being in a room full of hot hot computers and not to great ventilation, my machines shut down from overheating. Last time this happened was second sight on the cube, but that said I have been on my PC alot, given this is my only window to SFO, I might disappear for days at a time as my cpu time could be limited, and I have more important uses for it, such as blasting zombies in the face.

Gotcha. Later, man. No one likes having their stuff melt into slag.

It's very hot in my country too.

You can fry a chicken in the road.

This heat sucks.

install gentoo, no overheating problems!

Or if you want to blow up everything,

install Vista. C**p guaranteed!

I am running vista. Is a XP-Vista Duel boot. I don't see how Gentoo would solve the overheating problem though?

*Lola, Misty, and Madame Vulpine are gathered around a vintage early 1940's style hanging microphone*

Lola, Misty, and Madame Vulpine:

"Goodbye, farewell, so long...

We'll miss you when you're gone...

Honestly that is not true, we're happy to be rid of you!

Goodbye, farewell, so long..."

Lola: "Bum-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum!"

Misty: "Bum-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum!"

Just Kidding, Sabre! :P

I was actually mimicking a song/scene from the play "Manzanar", very sad play...

We'll see you later then.  Too bad you don't have an air conditioner...

We'll miss you buddy! :D

Also, you're not alone, my laptop would overheat CONSTANTLY on startup, never allowing me to actually turn it on.  Extra cooling fans have helped it so much.
