Samantha Weltzin
Falco is the one reason I think they ought to allow at least mild cussing in StarFox. It'd complete his "jerk" personality wonderfully and make him a more interesting character.I like the mythos surrounding him about being one of the best pilots in the galaxy (better than Fox); I just wish he would live up to it in the games. Of course, he's still an N64 NPC with a single laser, but the idea is there.
Dermot
Falco has always been my favorite Star Fox character by far. He's badass, I like his appearance (at least until they bishonenized him in Star Fox Adventures), and he always reminded me of myself at that age and younger. On a personal note, Falco is also notable as one of the first fictional characters I ever had a strong nagging impression was gay. I figured this even back when I was 13, in 1993 - gaydar can be a very powerful sixth sense for some people. And, ever since, he's never done anything to convince me he's straight. It wasn't until years later that I realized I wasn't the only one who thought this. This impression was only further cemented with "Farewell, Beloved Falco".Canonically, he's probably gay or asexual. But the fangirls have loved pairing him with Fox for a long time. I was never necessarily a Fox X Falco shipper - often I imagined Falco as not being formally hooked up with anyone, even if there was chemistry.Falco seems to be Fox's best on-again-off-again friend since their teen years, though the two didn't seem to have known each other before then. (Fox's best young childhood friends seem to have been Slippy and Bill, and perhaps Lucy too.) Fox and Falco seem like foils, and also at the same time like "an old married couple" - frequently arguing (and even fighting), but they're very, very close, with plenty of love and perhaps a little bit of hate mixed in. Neither of them seems big on romance or romantic friendships, but they struck me as the kind of people who never needed that - with intermittent quarreling, they're simply there for each other. Are they or have they ever been a couple? I don't know. Probably never formally. Maybe they're just two complex dysfunctional people who are repeatedly drawn to each other's company. But there's always been enough banter between them to keep this idea afloat.Falco's even older best friendship was with Katt - Katt even long had a crush on him, but they were never a couple or intimate in any way, and Falco was even greatly annoyed by her frequent neediness. To me, Falco and Katt always had a vibe of Falco being Katt's gay best friend and unrequited love. Falco does loves Katt, but probably more in a way a brother loves a sister. This was always enough for Falco, but it wasn't ever quite enough for Katt, and that eventually led Falco to break contact to teach her that she can take care of herself.Falco's relationship with Peppy and Slippy seems a tad looser. They're his friends, of course, but more like as a Nakama, in that he knows he can trust them with his life - he just doesn't want to, if he can do it himself.Quite honestly, many of Falco's interpersonal relationships with other people remind me of House in the TV series "House". Guest Mr. Mario
He's ok but seriously, if he is a ace pilot, then Fox wouldn't need to help Falco."Fox these guys are all over me, get rid of em.""Shoot! Hes right behind me."

Walrusface
Falco is my favorite character. I've always loved him. He just looks so cool, he's the most reliable teammate, and he isn't afraid to yell at Fox. His voice is awesome (particularly in Assault). Despite the lack of telepathy, he's about a million-and-seven times cooler that Krystal. On top of all that, he's my best character in Brawl. Eden
I love everything about Falco!!!!!! HE'S AWESOME!!!!!! But all of my friends and all of my brothers think that Falco is gay. He's not. I get so annoyed when people call him gay.
T3k0
From more of a gaming perspective, I hated him in the original Starfox. You would try to help him and he would be like "Mind your own business, Fox!". So I would say, 'fine', and let him get shot down. And then he would complain that you didn't help him. In Starfox 64, however, I grew to like him. One thing I loved about the game as a kid is that I felt that I could rely on him more than Peppy the Slippy. Even though he gets pissy sometimes, I thought it was more funny than him being an asshole. I was glad that I didn't have to save him and keep and eye on him every moment. Miyamoto said something during the interview in the official player's guide. I can't remember exactly (maybe somebody can confirm what he said), but he was talking about the Venom mission where the team splits up through the canyons and you've got to choose which way you'll take yourself. He said something like, "Falco/Peppy should be OK on his on but I worry about Slippy(so I will go with him)". That's kind of how I feel about Falco--I feel like he is tough enough to be on his own. Ghieri
Well, I don't love or hate Falco, I simply think he's a good character that fits well in the series. I don't agree, however, with the idea of him being the best pilot in the team, and probably never will. He's a great pilot, that's for sure (he might even be better than Fox in certain aspects), but I've read all the comics and played all the games (except for Command), and it's clear to me that Fox is -and was always meant to be- the best overall pilot in the whole galaxy. kkstarfox
Falco always seemed like the nagging little brother to me. He was crude, rude, and thought too highly of himself. He fits well in the game, and in the Star Fox team, but I really don't like him as much as I like the rest of the team.
