Mr. Foxer
I mean thisas opposed toUnless you're going for an SNES look which I guess would be an excuse.Since you obviously didn't notice I said MORE polygons, NOT HIGH POLY.
Robert Monroe
I like how everyone gets butthurt over criticism.Yeah, its a pretty bad model. Yeah, its a noobie model, but still. The main problem is its not streamlined. The Arwing is a very streamlined machine, so even if he was going to a SNES look, it still doesn't look right. Also huge image is huge, lrn2resize. Caat01
welcome charon77 that model is pretty awesome. excellent work. people don't be so rough with him, I bet that no one of you would like, that someone come and say that you suck, when is your first try.sometimes if you don't have anything good to say, better don't say anything or if you're going to criticize something, do it with all the respect that the person deserves. Sarita
not one ,but he should be treating people better his critisim is hardly constructive and not to mention Rude.Kursed, you have no room to talk. You've done the exact same thing to users in the past. If something bothers you, just report it and let us handle it. In this case, there's nothing to handle. It's a blunt, honest opinion. It may not be tactful, but it's helpful, nonetheless. If I hear one more complaint out of this topic, I'm going to hand out warnings. Got it? Robert Monroe
O rly?Yes, that actually is constructive criticism. I pointed out flaws (1: low polys 2: unstreamlined 3: image is too large), and what can be done to fix them (1: use more polys 2: use a base, streamline the model 3: resize the image). There's nothing more to say here. charon77
Hi Everyone... Thanks for your comments Ohh come on... please stop arguing Ok... let's see...1. Low PolyWell... Can't argue much with that one... It is quite hard to make higher poly manually... I've tried Subsurf it (to make more poly) by using the Catmull-Clark algorithm but it doesn't turn out to be good... It becomes.... err.... "childish" I mean, it's too soft. I'll do my best to make it better 2. StreamlineHmm.. I don't quite understand what do you mean by "streamline"... 3. Image too largeSorry, I don't know what size should the image be. Any suggestion on what size it should be?Thanks edit: I get it... streamline.... well... I'll try... I don't know how should I tweak it, since I only follow ONE_HELLCAT 's blueprint...
