Matt Macdowel
The M-16 does not overheat .erm history channel told me and that had an interview with a vietnam solider who used a m16 and they threw oil over it when it keept getting to hot so they threw oil over it to prevent it from over heating and cool it down but that was a mistake. Guest Julius Quasar
One of the worst .357 magnum revolvers ever made is the Comanche III. Made in Argentina, it's a piece of [commie] junk. Cylinder bind, bad hardware, and many other problems. Should make for a good throwaway gun (If you airbrush off the serial number and wear gloves when using it.) One of the best .357 magnum revolvers ever made is the Brazilian manufactured Taurus M605B revolver. Okay, yes it only fires 5 shots instead of the traditional 6 shots, but it has a million "pro" features that outweigh the "con" features (if any). *Edited*

However, I still hate the Comanche III.

Guest Julius Quasar
I've handled an M1 Garande. Great rifle! As for shotguns, I'm torn between the Mossberg "Persuader" and the Winchester "Defender" pump action shotguns.
Robert Monroe
I forget the exact statistic, but I believe it was over 80% of all murders are done with a knife in the United States, and there is actually a group out there trying to make any and all knives (Including kitchen ones) illegal. They're in America too? I know there's a group like that in Britain, sadly enough.

Riot Gun")Looks like we'll go back to the range on Monday, with the AK, the shotgun again (maybe 28 gauge this time), and hopefully my H&K USP. Andrew McCloud
How did I not find this topic earlier? XDAdmittedly, a lot of my experience with modern weapons is through Airsoft (not the backyard bullshit, I'm talking w/ US Military Veterans and modern tactics over 100+ acres of land >.>) Though my good friend in the 82nd Airborne has gotten me acquainted with a lot more, and I just joined the NRA this year. As far as the first weapon I'd like to get.... I'd have to say I really want an Armalite. (18 would be nice, but at this point I don't see them on the market as much as they used to be).My friend has (among other things) a 1911, M14, and MP5 (all of those are in my top list as well tbh...) And he tried hip firing it *Which is an even dumber thing to do, as you fire from the ready at worst, not the hip* and came even closer to hitting every other target except his).Lucky!Comrade! Also, just the nickname "L.A. Riot Gun" says it all.

If I want function and efficiency I'll hit the M14 at DMR range or a G36 at more regular range. (I do enjoy the MP5 (A4 on occasion) for CQC as well. Vy'drach
So I was just remembering how my Ruger P90 pistol looks similar to the one in the game Aliens vs. Predator 2.That is a Ruger P90. God I love that pistol, reliable, effective, and decently accurate for a pistol. That's the M4-A4 pistol from AVP2 (Really wish I could find a side image of one)Actually, found this GMod screen shot, showing the Marine and Predator weapons from AVP2.I really loved what some of the weapons in AvP2 looked like, such as that sniper rifle, looks to me like a heavily modified WA-2000, and the shotgun, when you hold it, looks just like my mom's Mossberg 590, the "Persuader" as Julius calls it. Just to say I've shot one. lol To be serious thoug, gonna be going to the gun range with my grandpa and girlfriend too. Guest Julius Quasar
I might like to have a Sig Sauer P229 (compact version of the P226)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sig_Sauer_P229with .357 SIG roundshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.357_SIGScrew the .357 SIG rounds, I'll just use .40 or 9mm rounds. Cheaper.
Sylum
I'd like to give a personal review of the P90. Actually i'd just like to say it has a lot more kick then I thought for an smg. A 5.7 is a pretty decnt size. Full auto would be crazy muzzle rise.
