Steve
I still think it's better to just pick a free online game, like a mmo, and stick to it. Since not everyone has the same games, or the machines to play the most recent games. Free mmos normally have decent requirements (Note that I said mmos not mmorpgs)If shooters are what rocks your world, here's a nice list of free shooters out there:http://www.freemmogamer.com/2008/09/best-free-fps-shooter-mmofps-list.html
Owner/Technical Admin Sideways Posted May 27, 2010 Owner/Technical Admin Share Posted May 27, 2010 Enemy Territory I already have a server for it. AND I know how to play and some of the good mods, and commands too, since it's the same engine as RTCW was
Owner/Technical Admin Sideways Posted May 27, 2010 Owner/Technical Admin Share Posted May 27, 2010 Mumble is better.I'm already renting a Vent server though - and I'm willing to allow SFO to use it as well as my server.

Owner/Technical Admin Sideways Posted May 27, 2010 Owner/Technical Admin Share Posted May 27, 2010 No, not Quake wars. Enemy Territory is a free game, ET:QW is what you had to buy to play. ET:QW is still a good game.

Steve
Free online games are full of twinks, hackers, and jackasses.I somehow have to disagree with that, you can find them in every corner, no matter the game. Well, bug exploits get fixed faster on retail games, but the jackasses are everywhere. Also, I suggested free online games since it would be easier to get them, the reason is obvious too. Computer specs are less demanding too, unless of course, we are talking about console games.

Freeware games are lawless wastelands.
