Guest Julius Quasar
That would be cool if it was yours. HeheheNo it wouldn't. She ran around on me, so it could be anybody's but mine, since we never had sex...we dated about 8 or 9 months, tho. And like I said, I dunno if it's true or not, a friend of mine had just heard the rumor on myspace.

And like I said, I dunno if it's true or not, a friend of mine had just heard the rumor on myspace.Well, I wouldn't trust a rumor floating around on MySpace, I've heard all kinds of bad things about that site.On topic, all the time I hear a bunch of my friends saying "(runner), you need to get laid when you get to college." But I don't need to do that. From what I've seen from people at my old high school, they hook up, act like they love each other, hear about their "escapades", then they break up and the stink of what they did is on them forever, plus a friendship ends up being awkward after that. Also from what I can see, guys who want to lose their virginity quick often view women as pieces of meat in a buffet line, and the thought of that makes me furious. It's sickening to me.As for me, I have my eye on someone anyway. And I'm not going to screw that up just to get with some chick I meet in college next year. Besides, like Julius said....As for virginity, I guess it's better to have that than herpes.Well put my friend.

Eagle Kammback
I'll be 20 in July, longest relationship lasted 2 months, every relationship I've had has ended due to one of us moving, pisses me off. That being said, I still am, and would like to be until I get married (can't find many guys like me)I have been turned down by many girls I ask out because I'm a Christian, that makes me the angriest

Steve
Why does religion matter? I mean, if you love someone, you love someone, or is there a fancy Christian rule that says it's a "sin" to date people from other religions? I remember reading some rules in a religions page about Christianity, and they scared me, but I always thought it was just fancy BS invented by fat middle age women to scare teenagers and tell the kids that harry potter is the source of devil. I'd say, love should matter more than religious matters, since it's more "palpable" and all, but that's just me, a non believer
Sabre
I acctually had this same chat with a friend last night, but it was about an brains rather than faith. Basicly, I don't think I could respect someone enough to date them without them being almost as smart as me, but the chances of finding an interlectual equal who shares the same interests and is able to date me are pretty much impossable.Of course, going with a local bimbo that I have nothing in common with would drive one of us insane.Ultimatly, we are dealing with one of most important things in your life you want to share, but if someone hates it with a passion, how can you get along, let alone live together and date? Redeemer
Hmm, I may as well have a little input here. I'm a 21 year old straight female. I lost my virginity when I was 16, and I sort of wish I hadn't. I don't know if I would still be a virgin today, but I just wish I had held onto it a little longer, you know? Sex can be overrated sometimes and I truly believe that it's only enjoyable with someone you love. Not someone you meet at a party or whatever, basically one night stands. Those are worthless. I believe you should only ever have sex with someone you love. Call me old fashioned, but that's what I believe now. As for religion... I saw an interview on TV ages ago with a pastor of a church in the US, and he was asked about the whole "sex before marriage" thing. The show itself was about the controversy surrounding his views, as he believed that it was okay if you were in love with the person and were at the right age to tell what love is.But who knows what love is? A lot of teenagers are all like "I love my boyfriend!" and they've only been together for a week. I think that's when you're too young to tell what love is. So, because of that, looks like you can only have "love-sex" when you're older. So I think holding on to your virginity is a good thing. I envy you guys who still have it, though at the same time, if I had the chance to grow my hymen back I wouldn't. Breaking that thing damn well hurts! Edit: I'm very embarrassed by this post, but hey, I was honest... :)

The show itself was about the controversy surrounding his views, as he believed that it was okay if you were in love with the person and were at the right age to tell what love is.Which is my whole point, nowadays religion just radically changes to fit the eye of the witness, it's more of a way of life instead of living for an unseen reason. I still don't get why some people just bluntly say "you are going to hell if you date that boy/girl!". Oh well, this is just like a barrel of monkeys waiting to get bigger and bigger, so I'll drop it off before I get offtopic. On topic...umm, love is something you feel, not something you know, I mean, sure, you can read a lot of crap about love, but nothing will make sense unless you truly experience it, there's no logic involved it (unless you pull biological matters, but that's really not in the discussion). And it's surely more complicated than Calculus
Redeemer
Of course, love is something you feel, but you have to recognise it. A lot of people think it's love because they're excited to be dating, or first bf/gf, or whatever. I think you need to mentally mature to a point, to really realise when you're in love. I know before I thought I was in love, but thinking back I was actually unhappy. Have you ever reluctantly said "I love you?" It feels so wrong, yet at the time I thought that was how it was. Now I'm older, living with my boyfriend, I know what love is.Lol, stupid song popped into my head. "What is love? Baby don't hurt me. Don't hurt me. No more". AAAAAARGH. :P
