Asper Sarnoff
I've always been good at advice, people always seem to come to me for it so I figured I'd sharpen those skills. It's been a good idea so far.Same here. It gives a really good feeling to help someone who needs it.
Redeemer
There's no feeling like it, is there Asper? I always speak my mind, sometimes it's just what people need to hear. I love making things clearer for people who are stuck.

Sabre
Totally!I'll probably never lose my virginity, and end up hanging myself in my parents' basement. (j/k) Yeah, I know you were joking. Your parents basment doesn't have enough ground clearence, assuming you find a belt that can take your weight. You never know Julius, you might be one of those lucky people that, although they meet "the one" later in life, they are spared the agony of shit relationships and drama llamas that everyone else seems to dive head first into. Or he might not. See, we are burdened with being nice people, which is bad because women assume it's an act and that you are really evil. We, or at least I, have come to terms with it.I study mental health and counselling and it's fantastic. I've always been good at advice, people always seem to come to me for it so I figured I'd sharpen those skills. It's been a good idea so far.Ok, I have to ask by study you mean professionally, or you read wikipedia a bit. The latter seems awfully popular among those who claim that. Not that it matters to me, Im imune to your jedi mind tricks in any case due to autism. Don't take this as an insult, but if I truly believed you were a font of social knowlage who could help me, I'd probley such you dry for info until you either run out or stop me somehow.Hmm. Sounds like Im QQing a bit there. So, here's a site about dogs dressed as beeshttp://www.beedogs.com/
Steve
It's more of a matter of hearing people, trying to be in their shoes, try to understand them, not saying "sure I know what you are talking about" because that just makes things harder sometimes. It requires more "heart" muscle than "brain" muscle. Sure, helping people is a handful of joy but god, there are some stubborn folks out there . I used to do this on a daily basis a couple years ago but then I started to swim in deepwaters, and oh boy, instead of "Thank you" I would get "Fuck you" even tho I ended up being right about the whole situation, which is why sometimes is better to let people get through their own problems without getting too involved or just be there to hear and not talk, which can be frustrating when they are being dumb. And brings us to the old topic...Virginity, which is...yeah pure (gotta stay on topic somehow )

Your parents basment doesn't have enough ground clearence, assuming you find a belt that can take your weight. We don't even have a basement, that's more of an expression "die in my parents' basement"...we do have a garage with exposed beams high enough off the ground though. Or he might not. See, we are burdened with being nice people, which is bad because women assume it's an act and that you are really evil. And before I switched to that course, I studied mental health nursing at the same university. And actually, about the "nice guy" facade, I'm one of those girls that's had really bad boyfriends in the past because I was so convinced they were nice, I never saw how badly they treated me until most of them, surprise surprise, cheated on me. That's my problem. I see the good in everyone. The guy I lost my viginity to stopped talking to me the day after. I never saw him again, but I thought he meant something at first. I trusted him but that's what happened. That's why I regret losing it so early. I never knew better.
Sabre
I would say how Im sorry about for you and the like, but I'm no good at comfort. Assume I gave you a sinseer conforting gesture. Plus you seem to have dealt with it already anyway. It is interesting to see the cause of that strange belief for a change. I would mention logic, but if love (or lack of) has taught me anything is that love and logic are like oil and water. Even so, I do find it strange that women prefer guys who beat them repeatedly and treat them like objects. Rolling a dice with a possable good outcome seems prefrable to a garunteed bad one. Guest Julius Quasar
I'm told I'm a "nice guy" by girls, just before they shoot me down when I ask them out, and it was partly for that reason sometimes I wished I was either a genuine bad boy, or a psychotic sociopath mass serial killer. I've always been a nice guy, but when I was younger it seemed that all the girls were heading towards guys that were either very attractive or had a lot of money and not taking enough consideration of the persons personality. Personally as I got older I found out that more and more girls around the same age as myself wanted a guy who was honest, intelligent, loyal, would spend time with them, would accept them for who they were, and have a conscious to do the right thing. We all (hopefully) mature with our lifestyle and expectations as we get older. Please don't become either! People should never strive to change, I believe. You'll only be truly happy once someone loves you for who you are. This is sound advice. I made the same mistake when trying to change to meet my ex's style of who she wanted me to be and it make me miserable and depressed. :/

Redeemer
Forgive me Sabre, but I do believe in true love and being yourself. I'm always myself and sure, I've repelled some guys by doing that, but who wants those guys anyway? It's so refreshing to be yourself and have someone like you for it, to be engaged in the stranged conversation yet not be ashamed of how weird you must look, to share the same bizarre interests. :friends:

Indeed it is. I've been lucky enough to join up with someone who's interests are almost identical to mine, and it's absolutely wonderful to have someone like that.
