Screw Osama Bin Laden.

You know why this war ain't in america? Cause we ain't pussies like they are (not being racist) In fact I say that to all these foreign wars. Yeah we didn't succeed in Vietnam, but what about Korea? or Iraq? hell, even when the brits. Took over we stood our ground, and we'll do the same in this damn war.

^ Agreed!  Words of wisdom!

Temporarily locked while I do a proper clean-up here. I don't think it would come as a surprise when I say someone is in serious trouble here.

Staff members are adviced to check out the staff office for further discussion of how this situation will be handled.

I hope he enjoys his one week ban. I'm fed up with his stupidity for now. You may now continue this topic.

PRAISE THE Admins & Mods for efficient enforcement! :D

Now, once again, I want to thank everyone out there serving right now for all the things that they put up with, to keep us safe back home.

Thank you.  I mean, seriously.  I don't care who he wants to thank, but he shouldn't talk about -anyone- the way he did.

Indeed.  They do their job quite efficiently despite there being over 9000 posts per day to look at :)

I knew inevitably this would happen to Matt and recently I've been noticing that the staff here have been listening to some community members on how they deal with certain situations, they have been a bit more relaxed with minor drama/off topicness but they've been very smart with killing specific kinds of drama that would easily get out of the control (such as this)

Good job staff at SFO :)

Back on topic, while I might not fully agree with the reasons most democratic countries go to war I do completely salute the men and women that join the armed forces to protect the freedoms of all of us while putting their lives on the line. :)

I'd like to thank all of the men and women in our USA Armed Services who defend our basic rights and freedoms; I also thank the lads in Éire for continuing to fight for their independence and freedom.

Alright, I know it's kinda passed, but Matt is about to make me start dropping the F bomb. and I meen the real word.

Seriously, we have people who won't possibly live to see their children graduate high school just to save your sorry ass from getting blown up. There I said It... now do us a favor and shut it. I was nice to you at first but now you've pissed me off  :x

Despite how antagonist you might feel towards him discretion is the better part of valor.  Lashing out at him in an obscenity filled post will solve absolutely nothing (other then you letting off steam) and would make the situation worse than it needs to be.  You might also get in trouble for breaking forum rules as a result.  Even if a lot of our views don't coincide with his we must respect his opinion....as he's entitled to one.  However, outside the forum rules, there is an unwritten set of rules relating to etiquette that should be followed in topics (especially potentially divisive and/or flammable ones) which hopefully most people would see as common sense...however some people just choose to "ignore" them.  :/

I know and pardon it, but I've got 2 of my freaking cousins fighting in Iraq who we barely get in touch with and that pisses me off for someone to hate them when their sorry asses could be ATTEMPTING to do the same and guess what? Their head gets blown off their shoulders...  :?

YES!!!  Thank you, SF-O staff.

Back OT,

Our troops deserve recognition in many ways...more than just Veterans  Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day...I seriously regret not being allowed to serve this nation.  But I always thank our troops.  If I had more money, I'd donate to the USO, they always helped our troops, not just with their shows, they bring care packages to our troops...you be surprised what a morale booster it really is to them.

I don't know anyone who is personnly in the actual army (Army reserves I do though) But I truley respect what these men and women do  had they not been there I don't know where we'd be today.

I'd like to thank anyone who is on the battlefeild at any time in history who fought for what is right. I would also like to thank those who help keep these soliders going such as the nurses and doctors (My great grandmother, who is still alive today, served as a nurse in WW2 whilst her husband served in WW2 as a solider, he died of cancer ten years after the end of the war).

As you have probably noticed, I am

not from the us, and my first comments

were directed at the soldiers of my country.

Well, now I would like to salute every other

soldier in the world. Why? Because theirs is a very

difficult, yet veru honourable job. They are tasked with

the defence of their country, and they may lose their

friends, families, and even their lives in the process, as

it happened in the past.

So, to all the soldiers of the world, I salute you all!

I did some clean up on the topic.

On topic, well I'm not  a  patriotic person. I believe more war is not the answer for war, I guess this is just because I'm a 100% globalist  :P, I just think the world would be a happier place if we didn't have countries, but instead just a happy Earth without cultural or any other differences. After all, we are all humans? right?, we are the same specie, and thus, we are all equal in rights. I really find irksome when people go "my country rocks! lol, we fight for the right stuff!" simply because white justice doesn't exist, there will always be a side that will utterly lose and gain pain from it, like on the WWII, a lot of the German men got pulled into a stupid war, not because they wanted to, but because they were badly lead by a crazy dude. I just believe that's really unfair for those that really didn't want to be there. Same goes for the Allied side, but in a different context, of course.

Then again, I don't support the ideals of people like Hittler or Osama, that think they have the holy right to decide what's truly "ok" for humanity,I guess...I dunno, full world peace is a dream that might never come true without witnessing more bloodbaths and deaths.

While I believe that soldiers all over the planet , that fight for "justice" and "peace" should be thanked , others that don't fight , but promote peace, should be praised as well. And yeah, you got it right, I'm one of those weird folks that believe in pacifism  :P and would love to live an easy life without worrying about wars or pointless conflicts, I know, sounds stupid, right?, but heck , peace and love for everyone  :) (goes back to be the admin from hell).

^That's an admireable opinion Steve, and it would be the best solution in the end. But since it's not going to happen anytime soon, if it ever does, we'll have to make due with what we have.
