*but Lilcas still doesn't know M-2 is following him*

"Dammit, Lilacs, you fool..." *hides ship in the moon's shadow*

Is he trying to follow us?

"Yes, and worse, he told the Clarks he was going after us.  He can't turn back now without being suspiscious..." *swears loudly into the hidden channel*

What's wrong?

"You're a dumbass.  I told you to ignore me and head to the surface.  What're you trying to do, take me as a prisoner?  You seem to be forgetting how important it is that I beat Zul to the base.  Now if you'll excuse me-"

Can't see you on radar, where'd you go?

LIlacs: Jasho hold it, let me make it look like Iam taking you in as a prisoner.

Lilacs: because, base is always scaning itslef both on the outsid and inside. If you shadow walk into the base every thing will go down, but if I take you into the base as a prisoner then you have no worry. Besides the Clark fed bases always have the generator right next to the prisoner hold.

Lilacs: No I don't think the two of use could take out 30 troopers and our attack will trigger an alert of our being here and Clark will fire the cannon.

*they start walking*

Jasho: So what do these Clark feds look like, I have never met one head to head?

An idea suddenly popped into his head.  It was a long shot, but...if the tags don't work..."Sirs, I ask one favor.  Please...salvage my ship."

Many people think Kal and Jasho think and act like twins.  They couldn't be more wrong; Kal thought things through, Kal hated using technology.

Kal was also a terrible liar.  Jasho was not.  Tears welled in his eyes as he continued.

"My wife purchased it for our anniversary two years ago.  She was..." He choked for a second.  "...She was murdered a few days later.  Please, it's...it's all I have left of-of-"

The Koulthan burst into tears, a pathetic sight, to be sure.  Zul closed his eyes; he could see where Jasho was going with this bull****, but he didn't want to give it away.  Jasho tried to pull himself back together into something resembling at least a shred of dignity, still sniffling.  If I didn't know what was utter crap, I'd almost feel sorry for the guy, Zul thought as he rolled his closed eyes.

*The Gunts grip on Jasho grew tite*

Clark Grunt 1: Quite!

* The Grunt let go of Zul and Lilacs, M-2 pulled his claw out of the Crab*

* A masive claw throws M-2 into the air, a Grunt walks to were M-2 was standing hold in a wepon in its claws*

Clark grunt 3: Nighty night-

* M-2 lands his claws onto the crab as he came back to the surface, the lager creater fell to the ground died*

"Damn...I never thought I'd be so happy to see that tin can.  Still, I was really hoping they'd bring the Banshee back to base."

"No, but I had to do something.  I left...ah, a backup plan onboard, and I didn't want to mess with hammerspace to bring it."

"Oh, but it is.  *fishes around the cockpit*  Mephaust left a way to make sure I paid him back.  I grabbed one on the way out.  Ah, there it is."  *pulls out a metal crate, about twice the volume of a shoebox*

Mephaust, tags, and now...is that what I think it is?

"If we run out of needles, Mephaust gets pissed.  This is just a precaution.  C'mon, let's go.  I need to see the base before I can shadowalk us inside."

"Because.  *pumps three needles into the Clark's body*  They do.  Now, let's get going."

Lilacs: May we go now before more Clarks come?

*walking behind Jasho and Zul*

* M-2 grabs Lilacs and lites his jet pack and they take off to the base*

Zul woke up first.  It takes more than a sharp crack to the head to knock a Scourge out.  He looked up just in time to see a large blue dot disappearing into a smoke trail.  He swore sharply under his breath and woke Jasho up.  It's a lot easier to knock a fleshbag out, apparently.

"Ughh...wha-what?"

Once more, you prove your gullibility.

"What?  Oh, god-****ing dammit..." He fell back down.  That's two debts he owed the damn Eras.

Fortunately, they were nearly as stupid as you.  Zul pointed to the smoke trail left by M-2's jetpack.  Judging by how they spoke and how quickly the scouts found us, the base can't be far.

"Way ahead of you," Jasho called from the top of the hill.  He stared briefly at the base.  "And I'm suddenly not feeling guilty about using this."

Can you get us inside?

"Is Lilacs a dirty traitor?  C'mon, let's get going before the Clarks-"

He stopped at the vibrations in the ground.  "Nevermind, too late for that," he said quickly as he grabbed Zul and disappeared into the shadows.

[Lilacs]

M-2: Lilacs you have a New messige.

Lilacs: What?

*The small are came out of m-2's arm and turned into a screen showing Katara*

Katara: Lilacs have Jasho and Zul be knoked cold

Lilacs: Should be, M-2's claws are 50% steel and 50% diseumlight.(diz-e-um-light)

Katara: Good, we can't have any more inesent lifes lost.

Lilacs: Yeah, but Jasho ain't going to be happy to see me when we meet up again.

Katara: And I'll be there with a video camera to catch it all.

*as the arm goes back into M-2*

M-2: JASHO AND ZUL LIFE SIGNS ARE POSITVE THEY ARE AWAKE AND ENTERING THE BASE!

He'll be caught in the aftermath.  Sarq wants him nullified; Mephaust can take care of that.

"I see.  Then let's get out of Dodge, shall we?"

I'd much rather be sure this works.

The pair froze as two Clarks walked down the hallway...and continued on their way.  Jasho exhaled as they turned the corner, and he continued in a whisper.

"Chameleon spells won't save you when you hack their systems."

Sarq wants Raj neutralized.  Mephaust will take care of that.

"Sounds good.  Wait...*looks out the window*  The traitor's come back."

We don't have much time.  Where are you putting the second bomb?

"It's already taken care of.  Now, for the moment of truth.  You wanna see the fireworks?"

"Enough talk.  Let's get out of here before the spells wear off."

Jasho grabbed Zul by the arm and ran into the shadows.

*M-2 broke into the hallway and grabed Zuls arm before he was taken into the shadow*

M-2: You need to leave this fight!

Lilacs: What is with you can you stay knok out for an hour our so?

M-1: TARGET 1 HAS BEEN LOCATED ENGAGE!

* Grabs Zuls arm and runs down the hall way*

Lilacs: Yeah, but M-1 is a clone of M-2 thats not on our side.

Lilacs: Because if the Clarks got a hold of you they would take you a part find out how you tick and go after you homeworld to ether blow it up or in slave your race and drain your planet of it resources.
