Guest Para Astaroth
I have been a somewhat fan of Splatterhouse for quite some time; not only for the gore fest and what not, but of the absolute entertainment it gives to the gamer. The classic Splatterhouse games, 1 and 2, were sidescrolling beat'em-ups, the third being a quest-style beat'em-up, but the creatures you faced were crossbreeds of zombies, demons, and other attrocities. The gore amount is off the charts, but for a game made in the 80's/90's, it was considered a horror game at the time for it's 'freakishly scary audio,' 'creatures,' and 'bosses.' The one boss that made me feel a little uncomfortable was the very last boss in the first Splatterhouse that looked like a humanized head/demonic head version of the Poke'mon, Diglett (Or however you spell it's name).Anyways, they are making a re-vamp of the series that is being released this fall and it looks overall pleasing to me, at least. If you haven't, then I'll explain the story:The main protagonist, Rick, and his girlfriend, Jennifer, take refuge in a house named "Splatterhouse," which is home to Dr. West's failed experiments. Soon, Jennifer is kidnapped by demonic entities of the house, leaving Rick fatally wounded; left for death. He awakens, alive, thanks to the help of the "Terror Mask", or "Hell Mask" to some, and fuses with Rick which turns him into a hulking, menacing monster with Hulk-ian strength. Long story cut short, he has to traverse throughout the house and save Jennifer, she dies, then Rick goes on a rampage and destroys "Splatterhouse," which in return makes him normal again; which also makes the "Terror Mask" reassemble and laugh. Here's the original game:Here is the re-vamped game [WARNING: INTENSE VIOLENCE, GORE, BLOODSHED, AND DISMEMBERMENT!!! Sol-Ratcht Saporro
I'mma check this out. I'll see if it's too gory or whatever. I'm guessing that's the Terror Mask and Rick fused in your avatar? I'll just vote What? AHHH!

Sabre
The first one (console) had some great gore. Third one was more fun. This new one looks a bit flat tbh. To over the top goofy, but maybe it will be good.
