Fira-Astrali
I like the halo games, if solely for the co-op feature. Nothing like head-shotting grunts for some good father-daughter bonding time However, Bungie wins the award for Most Unsatisfying Ending EVER!!!! >.< Three in a row too, you'd think they'd figure it out >.<Metroid had beautiful art, and i loved all the information that was floating around for you to collect ^^ I love it when games pull you in like that, and challenge your mind and not just your trigger finger XDHowever, since i am social gamer, Halo still wins ^^;

Fira-Astrali
Halo 3s ending was awesome, esp the legendary version. You mean when you're driving along, trying not to fall off and die? Don't get me wrong, it was a pretty epic ending XD But in the story section, it left something to be desired.

Star Fox Runner
Metroid gets my vote, especially when you pit Halo against Prime. I actually like Halo, don't get me wrong, but I felt that a lot more detail is put into MetroidTo me, Halo is just the stereotypical kill everything in site and be the ultimate badass kind of game. In Metroid, there are plenty of small things to find that adds up to a compelling story, plus it makes you use things in the environment to help you progress. In terms of the character's ability, Samus has so much equipment that makes her do things that Master Chief can't. (The visors, Morph Ball, multiple weapons in one gun, the grapple beam, and so on.)Plus, Samus just has a more compelling story to get behind and has a deeper conflict with her enemies, Master Chief is just the basic super soldier with no past. Guest Scorpion03
that depends, if uve read any of the halo books or watched the anime that was released not too long back, then it gives u more of a background history on the chars and even the ships, for example why the pillar of autumn doesnt look like a battle ship, etc etc... Guest Para Astaroth
I'm actually for Metroid on this one, because the series had more of a story to it, and Halo just rushed most of theirs. For instance, Halo 1 was what the real Halo games should have been and lengthened, but Halo 2 and 3 were cut short for some odd reason; brain-farts maybe?Plus, the action in Metroid was a little more over-the-top by adding more of the dramatic and intense feel to it's boss battles, and the sense of accomplishment whenever you find nearly EVERY item and beat the game with full stats. X-Gamer
Metroid. Samus has a lot of weapons at her disposal. I know Halo does too, but Samus has...unique ones, like not just a machine gun for instance. She has stuff that can are homing, can paralyze, burn, freeze, etc.
evilwaffles
Metroid is better. I personally hate Halo (yes I have played it).

ndf
I find it confusing how these two franchises are compared so much. They're nothing alike. Metroid is a first-person adventure. There are shooter aspects to it, of course, but that's not the main focus. Prime is all about the mind-bending puzzles and feeling of complete isolation. Whereas Halo is like.. shoot the shit out of everything.I've probably put more hours into Halo (largely due to it's multiplayer <.<) but overall I'd say Prime is the better series because the single-player experience is so unique.. and awesome. Guest Julius Quasar
With all respect, Julius...To get 100% score in your terms,a game needs to have a good-looking heroine, right? It's more of a Nostalgia factor.I like Samus. I grew up playing with her...

Im not a fan of the stickle brick level, but it gets the job done of "Oh crap!" and then the ending scenes after are fantastic.
