Official SF-O TF2 Server (DEPRECATED)

I'm starting to get annoyed of BF3 and how EA and Dice don't give a shit about hackers and exploits (CoD style). Though I never played tf2 a lot, it was at least more fun at the end of the day. Time to get it again, I dunno why I uninstalled it to begin with.

Good luck trying to play TF2 again. Its really unstable and you'll always crash during one game, no matter what.

I Don't know why you keep complaining about that. I don't know if I am just a rare exception but I never crash. I used to, but not since a patch LONG ago.

My TF2 has moods when it comes to crashing. It'll either crash on every map change, or not at all, for no obvious reasons.

It seems that only you and Purple have this problem. Either that, or you are the only ones who bring attention to it.

My TF2 crashes all the time, though it only seems to happen when in a sever I do not have saved to my Favorites.

In my experience, the only time mods cause crashes is when you are on a server where the sv_pure has been set to 1 or 2. Even then, it's only with sound mods. Re-textures and related subjects don't cause crashes. Possibly lag, but that's unlikely and more so a problem with the computer than anything.

I've had periods of time where I've had consistent crashes but these are usually resolved in the next update. Never had any long term problems with the game.

I play TF2 on a toaster oven that barely supports DirectX8, gives me maybe 10-15 FPS at peak performance, and takes 5+ minutes to load maps.

WHY DOES IT NEVER CRASH?

Your system is quite the trooper.

I've already spent 6-7 hours playing and I haven't gotten any crash at all. So I don't think it's engine related.

Well... people are always saying how tf2 game nights are hit or miss... I gotta say this was miss.. Mostly because I was tired and out of it.. But a little bit of people not know how to go medic or heavy or engi at the correct times.

Tonight was pretty fun. It's just... I have better things to do than sit around and play a silly game when I know my team has absolutely 0% chance of winning....

http://cloud.steampo...430164E46B4D85/

But the stacking/unbalanced teams soon sort of dispersed and I had some fun. Frontier was really fun and the teams were fine. Upward was meh because of that, Mountain Lab was fun but my team just didn't really have a chance, and the teams weren't even unbalanced. I don't know if we won a single round on that map. :V

But Hightower made the sour night turn out okay again for me because it was pretty fun before I left, had to go. :)

Also it didn't help my mood tonight that my Axtinguisher was not working at all. I had 10+ definite kills with it and nothing happened every time... :C

Yeah I have to admit, being on the winning side makes it a bit more fun lol. I wish there was a way of balancing the teams better though, it did feel pretty unbalanced at times and I never like the idea of one team getting angry and leaving. All and all though, I think even if I was on the losing side, the game felt more casual and fun as opposed to gung ho all out rage fest

Something like that doesn't work against something like me in the wrong hands.

Anyway nothing to say about this game night. Nope, nothing at all.

Tonight's game was fairly good. Loved headshotting my rival snipers and playing trollsman all night. Also, yeah, teams were stacked, but I think it's high time we learned to deal with it. Because it's never a tie in TF2.

Moved up three rankings to third on the list. Averaging a pretty decent K:D ratio to boot.

It was fun tonight, lasted longer than most of us past few game nights and the server filled up quickly. To ensure the filling up of the server happens more often and quicker it would help when voting that we don't pick unpopular custom maps because that will kill the # of people ho join the server. Just sayin'.

In the wrong hands, eh? And what say you about all the times you fell to the Ax in my hands?

Well, it was pretty good. It had its share of lows and highs and usual minor annoyances.

I did my first 2 market gardener air kills !

And the Beggar's Bazooka turned out better than I thought it would ! Plus there's that feeling of joy when you shoot 3 crockets at a bunch of dudes running :D

Plus, I didn't explode of frustration, even if I came close at the beginning, when auto-balance showed its ugly face :(

I did whine for a while though, especially with "team sfo". I'm glad I didn't ragequit at the start however.

I guess there's still hope for me :-)

Also ignoring sniper bullets is hard :-P (obscure reference to what zero said)

EDIT: I understand slippy now ;_; :P http://gaming.starfox-online.net/hlstats/hlstats.php?mode=dailyawardinfo&award=2&game=tf
