I did pretty good as Medic despite Heavies and Spies killing me. I might start to improve as a Engy soon...and maybe sometime, Spy.

(And I gotta agree that the maximum Heavy cap should be 2 insted of 3.)

I noticed you using Enthusiast's Timepiece.

son i am proud.jpg

You know what DIDN'T make me proud?

That fucking scramble.

And then the abrupt map end.

You know what, when someone wants a scramble, INCLUDING those in power, run a fucking vote. Just up and doing it TOTALLY fucked over BLU because their engies, medics, and such were taken and their resources dropped. Their momentum stopped DEAD goddammit, and it was a roll in RED's favor.

Worth not losing one frikkin -close- match, DZ? Because, I sure as hell don't think it was. And then the map just ends? I didn't see a vote. What was up with that?

Stop being such a baby, damn.

Fun comes from people heavily browsing the internet while you play TF2, kinda made me go "Screw this" so I went engie, which I really have no experience to play with. I even managed to put a lvl 3 exit just infront of the base while putting the entrance near the enemy base :P, I love my mistakes. I really need to learn to pick up places to put stuff up.

I'm just gonna mime what Milky said here. Don't scramble during rounds and don't change maps without warning during rounds either. Its lame.

Also we need less payload. And get rid of that CTF map we played it is balls.

Also also I am quitting TF2 for the time being. This laptop is abhorrent. I lag, I framerate drop, I can't aim my guns, the mouse bugs out and messes up my shoooting/wrenching, I can't take down spies sapping my shit, I got killed by a melee medic 3 fucking times in a row, and my server score is hurting for it.

Mr. N, enjoy your false rise over my score, considering I've had subpar performance for the past 2 months and have repeatedly missed games. I'll be back one day to take it all back with my BARE HANDS. And my Kritzkreig.

Tony, one of the first flaws in competitive Laser Quest when determining who is better than who is for one player to not pay much attention to how much his opponent has improved in addition to his own. The same logic can be applied to TF2 by looking at the stats. ;)

you WISH you were passing me up any sort of soon =), note you wont though, with the way I've been playing.

http://gaming.starfo...tf&rank_type=-1

On the contrary looks like I'm well on my way to doing so. Higher K/D ratio, points, AND less total connection time in the past week. Not to mention that my primary is medic which offsets by quite a bit my secondary (Which is heavy). In addition, I could improve the K/D ratio significantly by not fucking around as a scout for fun a lot of the time or by going heavy 95% of the time and not medic lol. In addition, I wouldn't mind if DZ put up a Kill Assist stat as well.

I missed most of tonight because of a wedding.

I feel that current skill levels of players would be better indicated at times using the last month as a benchmark - especially if you have a lot of newer players that have only played for a few weeks or a couple of months.

http://gaming.starfo...tf&rank_type=-2

This of course, I take with a grain of salt because, quite simply, I give myself high expectations for stat tracking games like this and right now I'm just bad (even as a medic). Also DZ, could there be a formula of sorts that takes the total points earned and divides it by the total minutes played multiplied by 60 to give a total points per hour stat? I know you guys already know this but kill to death ratios in TF2 aren't the be all and end all of skill in this game - unlike CoD.

Yes, it is. Engineer is a class whose skills are learned by studying the battlefield and knowing its every nook and cranny.

indeed i agree, however if you looked at how much i have improved once i started actually being srs AND the poop for stats my TF2 was given to me with(this was a freinds thing till he completely gave it up and ragequit TF2) you would see that your not the only one improving

you think i don't mess around from time to time? half my deaths come from messin with my brother and a few of his friends on the server while no one else is around. if I'd stop doing that, my K/D ratio would be positive without a doubt, this also explains the higher connect times. i must agree with you on the assist kill thing though, make it happen DZ.

to this i must simply say you are correct. it really needs to happen and i quite like the formula for doing so, once again i say "Make it happen DZ."

Mr. N, on Gorge, when we had that 45 second long stealth fight and you won, I was so proud.

SEE, that's how you be useful. Rather than running around baiting people into shooting you, you just slay them and keep rollin'.

Well, I got to play a little bit of TF2 (in an awkward position on this bed and with no voice chat hence why I didn't do that well) but despite how I only played for like...15 minutes I have a couple of beefs, it's with Black Snakes Second Slave (whoever that is)

While playing as a medic he was telling me that I should have ubered faster so both of us didn't die. Newsflash: I Ubered you a full second before you were taking damage and Ubercharge doesn't make you completely invulnerable and you CAN die if you take damage from multiple sources, as we did.

Secondly, the quickfix is not "bad", as you called it. As a matter of fact, regarding another case of you getting killed seconds after you respawn by a heavy you would have been killed FASTER if I had just used a normal Medi-gun since the quick fix heals a lot faster. Yes, it doesn't overheal, but when I'm running around healing several people over a period of 30 or so seconds the quick fix is easily preferred - plus it uber charges faster.

Also, with no voice chat, I can''t just simply give warnings out on a whim to the person I'm healing if someone is coming up behind us.

I would appreciate it if people didn't treat me like I don't know how to play a medic. >_>

That is what it means to play a Medic, man. You carry the team on your back, there's a thousand different possibilities, and if anything goes wrong you always get flak and never any praise for when it goes right.

And I will say the Quick-Fix suits you well. You don't tend to pocket much, so yeah. In the case of facing multiple enemies though with the QF, just pop the uber (for the extra survivability of your patient) and then run the fuck away. It was not meant to turn the tides of battle.

I prefer the quickfix as well, although if I need to ubercharge a heavy for a breakthrough I can simply switch over to the medi-gun - I've done that many times on game nights.

Well you know what medigun I like to roll...

I won't be there next week on account of being in a hotel room Friday night, and on an Amtrak train Sunday night.

Hotel internet is no good for online games, and there is no internet on Amtrak's Superliner trains , and even if there was, it would probably be no good for gaming.
