As well as all the other maps we played too, but those stood out. Anyway, the game's still on atm, I just got bored. I really want to say, though. It's so nice to have everyone back playing. Having everyone around at the same time for the great maps is just like the good old days. (As in, this time last year and on until around October) Rob, Milky, Scourge, Mr. N, Shrooms, etc. The game nights weren't the same when Milky/Rob weren't there, as well as the others all being together at once. Only thing we're missing this week is DZ. I KNEW IT I KNEW I WAS A FUN GOD WHOSE VERY PRESENCE MADE THINGS ENJOYABLE. Anyway, yeha tonight kicked ASS. I tore a new asshole into Dustbowl, I managed to get some great Ninjaneer in Waste, we had some derpy fun in Turbine and Sawmill, and then for Steel and Viaduct, Milky went counterspy to protect me while I hauled a level 3 sentry around. It's at least as bad as random crits. There were a bunch of times tonight where I clearly won the battle between a Pyro and I but the Pyro unleashes his fury with his Phlog and just destroys me. If the phlog pyro taunts, that's 3 whole seconds you have to run away. If you stand and fight thinking your less powerful flamethrower will beat his in a straight up fight, you deserved your death. I have to stop myself from cackling like a madman every time I use the Phlog because whenever I unleash the MMPH, there's always some newbie who doesn't know any better who keeps attacking me anyway. Then he gets raped and he doesn't even know why. As for the lack of airblast as the primary downside, I can't agree more. Though, the reason it's the downside is that it supposedly makes it harder to survive. Most Pyros who use the thing are W+M1 "KILL ALL THE THINGS" tards who don't use it differently from the stock flamer, and that's what gets them killed. The general idiot's playstyle gets them mowed down anyway. It can be borderline OP when a smarter Pyro plays defensively (as opposed to aggressively, which is the point of the weapon), and only goes on the offensive when the bar is full. Icy Posted February 26, 2012 Share Posted February 26, 2012 Yeah, okay. I was really joking. I wasn't going Pyro vs Phlog last night, I was usually a Soldier when I got pounded. It was on Waste. A lot of the Pyros there (the noobs) I was just killing like crazy as Soldier. Then when it would be a Phlog, whether he was MMPH'd or not, he would kill me in an instant. Is it just me or does the Phlog's flames reach out a lot further than the others? Idk but it always seems that way. When I play as Phlog, I mean, not just watching other Phlogs. @Gene: I seriously see what you mean now, looking at Gullywash last night on your video.
