It would seem our pyro friend has come up close to if not broken my record for quickly working their way into the lower 20's of the scoreboard. While i hate to say it, i may loose my #6 slot soon ._. All the regulars are worth 25-30 points per kill to new players, whereas for as long as the server's started we've only been getting 5's off of eachother, so the newer players don't have to work nearly as hard for points. That said, Firebug IS good. Is he god tier? Not hardly, he is quite beatable and has one or two weaknesses that one can exploit. Just that User doesn't know ass of Firebug's ability (nor anything else, I imagine, as User's never advanced past pub level. Never played long enough.) Doctoring is worth more points in general compared to killing regulars and getting pennies for points on pubbies. And yeah, I've gotten Firebug quite a few times myself with proper application of my Critsaw. Firebug is good, but he can't do beans against hitscan bullets. Thu'um Posted February 28, 2012 Share Posted February 28, 2012 Yes, fire bug suprised me as a pyro, he totaly recked me while i was a soilder, somthing no other pyro had really done, but i have grown a slighty imunity to him, i simply switch between Rocket launcher and shotgun to kill him. Winbombs and high-damage hitscan attacks (Hoovy's assorted bullet hoses, level 2-3 sentries) will always give skilled Pyros trouble even when they're ready for them. Being a close range class, Pyro does take moderately good reflexes to be effective. I was referring to close-to-mid range projectile reflections. Those require more prediction and luck than anything. But when it comes to other things, like shutting down DR Spies or fighting back against hit-and-run Scouts, reflexes do matter. Unrelated, but I've noticed that Gene posts in red and Scourge's color is a greenish-teal or something. I want a signature color too. My CPU fan has been having issues recently, it only now started causing problems (overheats leading to shutdowns) I'm right now doing tests to make sure that it can run with this temp replacement, but that dosent mean that It'll work for an intensive game of TF2.
