Icy Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 Early on tonight was absolutely annoying. So annoying and frustrating I was going to quit after the first map. Then the teams got balanced out a little more and it was pretty fun for a few rounds/maps. All in all an okay night and I had some fun. Nice to have DZ playing. We actually have to TRY, and it feels as if we all have to join on one side to combat them. It's teamstacking to fight a stack, or in otherwords, just joining our respective teams. After several rounds of getting rolled by all of you clanstacking, I just straight up refused to play. Now it feels less like I'm playing with friends than constantly being antagonized by a clan. ZDMC was nice when it was bringing in good people from outside souces, but now that you have the nerve to poach the people I play with and encourage them to be on the opposite side, I may as well turn in my medigun. I was planning on staying just to record from spec, but that means there's no voice that and the fact I'm not playing is boring, so I jumped after getting kicked by the console. I was meaning to do a little unboxing thing with Milky, but I was so PO'd about all this sudden ZDMC BS that it completely slipped my mind. The stacking is one issues, but the main thing that bothers me is that with all you people throwing ZDMC into your name, it feels like I'm playing against some rival clan as opposed to just playing with SF-O peeps in general. It just brings in this element of seriousness that I just don't want to deal with in TF2 when I'm in the SF-O server. I'm not here for SF-O vs. ZDMC match-offs every weekend, I'm here to play with SF-O peeps in general. It encourages a good chunk of people to ALWAYS be on the opposite side of me because I refuse to be on the side that has half a dozen people with ZDMC in their name. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Robert Monroe Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 Well, I had decent fun tonight. It wasn't my best, but it was farrrr from my worst. That said, I can understand the complaints voiced here. A friendly rivalry between us and ZDMC is fine and fun, but every game shouldn't just be SFO VS ZDMC. We're here to play with each other as a community, not to create stiff competition. If you wanna wear the ZDMC or SFO tag, that's fine, but if you want hardcore fights between us, then let's schedule a 6v6 or a Highlander game once in a while, not on pubber game night. I like having the server open to anyone, but when it gets to the point where SFO members are wanting to stop playing on the server because of this, I have to do something. I'm not paying for this thing so ZDMC, most of which are not SFO members, can have a stomping ground. No, tired because of team stacking, they refuse to spread themselves out amongst the teams, and fuck up the balance to the point it turns into a scenario where they're farming us for kills and points.
