psy_commando
Yeah, discussion got pretty heated at one point. I think also a rule to encourage sportsmanship might be beneficial to avoid that kind of thing. Something like, not saying the person you just killed "suck it bitch", or little things like that. Its just a suggestion though. Oh, and I did absolutely terrible. And also, I just want to say that if you're talking to me on the voice chat and you don't get an answer from me its entirely possible I just didn't understand, not that I don't want to answer or anything. I'm just saying this because I have the feeling I got talked to a few times yesterday and Friday, and didn't understand. And also feel free to ask me to repeat or correct me, I'd like to improve my spoken English :)

Though, if you don't like what someone says to you, ask them to stop. If they don't, let an admin know. If they don't listen to the admin, they get a Permagag. "User"
Wow... MvM is just awesome. Well work the time waiting in queue to get on a server. Played a portion of my time with Gene and Icy on another server as well. Can't wait to play on the SF-O server.

RomulanNinja
I can't believe it is taking over an hour just to find a gameserver. There is a reason TF2 did not have a matchmaking-type system in the first place.
DZComposer
I hope Valve will release a streamlined MvM-only server. It would make it easier to run multiple MvM servers. I want to leave the main server up for regular game night, though Sourcemod was royally broke. Still some crash issues with Windows servers, which ours is. So, expect some updating soon. Also, SF-O MvM server will be passworded. Votekick will be disabled, as this has been a rampant problem on open servers with people vote-kicking people for bullshit reasons. MvM server will initially be set-up vanilla without sourcemod. I may add it later, but since the server is private, things like SourceBans and Reserve Slots are not necessary. When I get home from work, I will jump on getting the servers up ASAP.

Milkyway64
I certainly do. DZ's servers seem to be the only ones that don't make me crash. I waited 50 minutes to play. I got 6 minutes of gametimes before I crashed in wave 2. So pissed.
Icy
Don't use the matchmaking system, guys. I never got into a game with that, didn't even hardly try since the wait time was 20-90 minutes for me. Go to the server browser and go to Internet, type in the map field "mvm_" and sort by players. Refresh and scroll down to the 0-3 player-slots-open servers and try joining until you find one that lets you in. A lot of them are unstable but some actually work great. That's the only way I've played. :P
"User"
From playing a few rounds in both Mann Up and Community Bootcamp mode I think another substantial difference between the two is the difficulty. Mann Up mode is significantly harder but you don't have to wait as long to get into a game.

That shit is insane. 3 hours of work gone because people wimped out on the last wave.

Similar to comp play I think it would be prudent for each player who is thinking of playing a lot of MvM at the Mann level to get good at one particular class and stick with it and get really good with it and know what their role is. Oh, and teamwork...the amount required to regularly best these tours is probably similar to what goes on in high level comp play.
"User"
Fun times tonight on the MvM server! After winning a whole bunch of easy rounds I changed the difficulty to Advanced2 and as a result we couldn't even get by the first wave! I'll be gone over the weekend but will probably show up for game night regardless. I took one screen shot right after we lost a round due a scout dropping a bomb and then flying 100 feet in the air, Icy is in the picture as well. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/578964650895458053/16108E7819C5DA3A50ABAC3969E9E85E6E23D8BF/

Firebug
Bailed early. Couldn't bear to play in my sleep-deprived state, having played MvM and other games all last night. Unbalanced teams didn't improve the situation any.

The Shaper
Computer laptop fucked up while on Manor, this isn't over! Still had a decent game. Bailed early. Robert Monroe
I had a lot of fun tonight! My engineering on Mann Manor was great, and played some MvM afterwards!
psy_commando
I did pretty bad tonight, and after playing MVM I think I've picked up bad reflexes. Reflexes that are effective against bots, but not against other humans. And I stopped watching my back for spies. All in all, this was a very fun night. Even if I "rage retarded", and "rage spectated" a few times when I got auto-balanced to the other team, in the middle of the game.. I also made some terrible puns with the saws on sawmill ! I got my canteen, finally ! Also remembered how to go civilian with the soldier, which is completely useless but somewhat funny (we should totally do a video with hordes of civilian soldier ) :3 Oh, and the fully upgraded cow mangler is pretty awesome ! DZComposer
I want to leave the MvM server up for ad-hoc games, but I need to look into how to do it. It may require a server upgrade. Also, I apologize for not getting the regular server up yesterday. I had an unexpected need to leave town.
