From top to bottom

A-10 warthog

Uh-60 Blackhawk

UH-1 Iroquois (Also known as  Huey)

another one of my favorite helocopters is the AH-1 Cobra which flew along side the huey and is still in use today.

anoter good helocopter which never saw use is the Rah-66 Comanche a replacment for the Apache  too bad it never truley left the drawling boards though.

There is one helicopter that can do a somersault, though...

Jets are the only ones that can do barrel rolls.

no a helocopter can do a barrel roll.

I think it's the helicopter called 'Lynx'...

I watched it on discovery channel a week ago...

It did a somersault and a barrel-roll

also, my fav heli is the commanche, but it, like kursed said, never left the blueprints...

That'll be the Westland Lynx then. British made, and currently the world fastest helicopter, at least if we're thinking "mass-produced".

We do have a handfull of them in the Norwegian Air Force.

Also if you put it under your arms, women come running.

 sorry about that off topic.

Not only can MOST if not ALL jets do barrel rolls, I find them more...free, sort of like an arwing. They look like they can turn too much and fail. Kind of hard to describe. I feel that they...have a limited amount of control.

There are jets that can hover:

Harrier

F - 35B Lightning II  VTOL class

At least these two are all that I know.

but a helcopter can land any were flat ALL jets need a landing strip

Not if they have Vertical Take-Off and Landing (V.T.O.L.)

I prefer jets. I find that the pros of speed outweigh the cons of not being able to slow down. Or turn.  :P

Also, if you get shot at, you can run away at Mach 2!

We're talking which you like better, not which is better alright? They both have their pros and cons.
