And besides, you hit him once, he's basically dead.Yeah, with the Smartgun, which makes the Predator cloaking useless, can see enemies through walls, and fires those 30 bullets near instantly. And only the Predator can have an easy time with a Marine, the Alien almost always loses, unless it's a grab from behind, as the Alien's lunge is too short of a range, and the Marines are too hard to knock over as an Alien. Star_Dragon Posted June 11, 2010 Share Posted June 11, 2010 A game I found hard or impossible to beat? um...... Star Trek: Starfleet command III, Romulan Campaign. I forgot the mission title, but I had to sneak to a Federation starbase and beam out a Romulan agent. F**king annoying because every time one of the two ships passed within range 30 or so, I was detected and failed the mission (EVEN UNDER CLOAK!). So I tried to go around them, but the starbase detected me. (F**K!!!) When I finally got the strategy guide online, I looked at that particular misssion and went - Oh. My. God. I was doing half the mission wrong! I did what the guide suggested and went toward the base at 1/2 impulse or less, avoiding the ships. Andross was pretty much the only difficult part of that game. Well, at least for me. And the snake totem pole part of that game in the lightfoot village had me stuck for a while.
