My favorite characters for Soul Caliber 2 have to be Link and Ivy for the Game Cube. Link, well he is just link, which i sloughter people with and Ivy is the same way.

To anighlate your opponent with Link, just contiue to press the Y button and up on the D pad (Or joy stick) when you are near the opponent. Then when the other person is on the ground, continue to press the Y button and down on the D pad (or Joy stick). The first move can repeadedly send your opponent in the air, and the other can have Link reapedely use his sword and jab it down on the opponent (lol like a bunny hop). this will help keep Link alive andick off your opponent.

To use Ivy to a good potential, KEEP AWAY FROM THE OTHER PERSON, which should not be hard considering that she has that cool sword that extends.

Ivy may have a cool moves set, but she's hard to play as...and she can be a real pain in the you-know-what if you hit her at one of the higher levels. Hard hard hard...and I don't know what level I"m on in Weapons Master...I wanna' say I'm around lv. 78, but I'm not sure.

I have to say I agree more with Gamecuber459, mostly because Ivy is a character you can't really button mash, if you know what I mean. Her best moves are the ones you have to work for, while others like Link and Nightmare you can press any button and get a hit.

Just my little two cents.... :D

I remember Soul Calibur II, I rented it a couple years ago for my X-Box, I liked Nightmare the best his sword kills. ^-^;;
