Over the years, Disney have churned out a lot of moves. Many of them have been good, and others not as good.

While they've given us countless interesting heroes and heroines, they've also given us a good deal of interesting villains, and it's them I will be focusing on here.

Who do you think was(I do think most of them died in the films) the best of the lot? You have three votes, use them well. I didn't include some of those lesser known, or very new, on purpose. If you like those, vote for "other", and give an explanation.

Personally, here comes my three favorites.

Professor Ratigan, an evil mastermind composed of many opposites. He's large and muscular(for a rodent anyway), but prefers to carry out his plans trough cunning and wits. Calm and collected, until he turns into a raging monster. Fun fact, contrary to my general preferences, the Norwegian dub is actually far better for him than the original.

Claude Frollo, the zealous judge of Paris who believes he's doing what's right, even when that means turning into more of a monster himself than those he plan to rid the world of.

For the third one, it was a little hard. Many great contenders to chose from.

In the end, I settled for Gaston.

He works both as a villain, and gives a bit of comic relief. It's also a nice change to see the tables turned where visually, the villain is the looker, and the male protagonist is literally the Beast.

I'm probably a bit biased here though, since this is my favorite of all the Disney classics.

So, what's your opinion?

Sher Khan & Shan Yu... Back in the day, as a little kid,

these where the only one who made me think "oh no,

the bad guy is going to win!", being Shan Yu the only

one who could actually 'faintly scare' me.

Hades. Because he being a dummy made me laught

back then.

Scar is a classic. Syndrome for Incredibles has some good lines and my favourite super power, but that's just cos Im a fanboy.

If we can include TV shows, Nos 4 A 2 the robot vampire from Buzz Lightyear and of course Zanatos from Gargoyles. It's like me, but thin. The line

"Are we in love?"

"As much as 2 people like us can be."

and later when Goliath finds out about his love

"Now you know my weakness."

And of course, he has a high success rate.

Thinking about it, Disney is the only company who has me siding with the heroes. Usually Im a villain man.

I have to say other.  Cruella Deville is my personal favorite, as 101 Dalmatians is my favorite Disney movie.  It just has a charm to it, which, for me, isn't matched with the others.

Didn't really thought of including those from the TV-series, only those from the main films here.

Though, I completely forgot Cruella Deville. I had planned to include her, see as she's one of the really great ones, but she was lost somewhere in the process of writing all this.

I went with Captain Hook (He always just made me laugh, especially with the crocodile), The Queen of Hearts (I love Alice in Wonderland, and who can forget screaming, "Off with her head!" And for third, I went with Shere Khan (though Hades also has a tie with him, as I like Greek mythology, and Hades was just cool. But Shere Khan just had that charisma about him).

But for other choices, I do enjoy the villains from Gargoyles, like Sabre. Xanatos was awesome, but so was Macbeth, Oberon, The Pack, and Thailog.

Just watched a couple of Nostalgia Critic videos on his webpage, and as a matter of fact, he did an 11-top list over his favorite Disney villains. I don't agree with all of them, but I'm glad that at least all I picked here got in on the list.  :)

BE WARNED, CONTAINS FOUL LANGUAGE!

Ratigan. Noone else sings IN CARACTER and can get his minions to join along under PENALTY OF DEATH.

Also, he's Vincent Price.

Also this topic needs more Horned King.
