Besides, I don't think there was any writing until the Chalcolithic, after the Neolithic had ended.

Anyway, I prefer things that are timeless. ^_^

The Neolithic is pretty much copper-age. By then,

writing was invented. It was not something the majority

of the population 'used', but was there... However it was

developed mostly during classical time.

I mean the World war eras, primarily because they are much, much focused on wars

Well, personally I think that the WWI should have been won by the Central Powers, or even better, not happened at all. But if WWI happened, and WWII had not, who knows how today's society would be... Is is common to speculate about a '3-Block-Cold-War'.

The dinosaurs' time

That is a nice subject, too.

My favorite time period is around the time of the American Revolution. It just fascinates me on how such a small (and pretty much powerless) country defeated the greatest military powerhouse at the time.

Otherwise, i'd choose napoleonic. Napoleon was one of the greatest tacticians the world has ever seen. Plus, i've always liked the French army (though i don't know why).

^^^ This. For me, with more emphasis on the Easter Rebellion and the IRA Revolution in Ireland.

Mmm... If I recall correctly, there was this phrase

which became famous; it is part of a song, and goes like.

"...And they are hanging men and women for the wearing

of the green!"

And the worse it, it was true. Green color was banned

by the English in Ireland while it was still under their control

as it became associated with the word 'independence'.
