Discussion thread for shooter games.

Post any strategy or tactic you have on ANY shooting/shooter games, talk about those games, anything about those kind of games, post 'em here.

Personally my favorite Fps shooter is Fallout 3, It has the Basic functions of most shooters but sadly they didn't time to fully implement ironsights (but fortunetly theres a mod that fixes that). But I love the gameplay of Left 4 Dead 2, I havn't felt (or expected) the feel of that kind of gameplay to come from a Source Game. And like the Orange Box if you buy it in retail it'll be added to your steam games list.

Fallout 3 is more a RPG that happens to have guns in it. The gunplay is sub par if you go into it expecting a shooter.

I'm currently re-playing Mission Improbable, a HL2ep2 map that is fantastic.

In some shooting games my best strategy is jumping around a lot, firing at the target repeatedly. Not only I do have great mobility, I also have a larger chance of avoiding their fire. :cool:
