Guest Mithos Kionisu
I'm just wondering, WHAT DID NAMCO DO TO FOX? He looked great in adventures, why did they fell it neccisary to change what worked so well? and am I the only one that thinks flaco just doesnt look good in either of the cube games (comparied to 64)
Orbital Fox
Fox looks... too sharp. He looks alot better in Adventures, I liked Falco better in Adventures than in Assault though, he looks terrible in Assault Red isn't his color, red and blue is one of the worst combinations you can put together. And I don't really care what Slippy looks like as long as he doesn't get too annoying, and Krystal looks perfectly fine to me.
Guest FireFox
I like Adventures better because the characters don't look like clay like in Assault. Plus I hate the new voice of Fox in Assault, sounds like someone is squeezing his balls when he talks. I liked his voice in Adventures; so strong but soft at the same time. Mr. Krystal
I think the major difference (besides the clothes) was the different method of rendering fur. They didn't do a very good job rendering fur in the gameplay. The fur rendering in Adventures was very well done. Hard to blame them though, cause fur is one of the hardest things to do in 3D and Namco probably didn't have access to the Adventures 3D Models. ONE_HELLCAT
Well that's no excuse for Fox's huge forehead, and Falco's too tall and skinny in Assault. Namco could've done better.
Orbital Fox
Is he a bit too fuzzy or is it just me? http://www.localhost/armada/images/screens/e3_2k3/gamespot/04.jpg
Guest FireFox
yes they could of done a lot better with fur, voice acting, and the plot. I believe the plot was rushed and that pisses me off since they had a lot of time to work on it.
Orbital Fox
Yeah, same with the ending of Adventures, when Krystal says: "My staff, you're back" Her hand goes through the staff, and when she fires at Andross with her staff the sounds are like 5 seconds off sync. And yet I still can't get enough of it...

rebel_gunman
Same as all!!! The characters of Starfox look a lot better in Adventures than in Assault. And so does the Arwing! I preffer the Arwings from Adventures than from Assault.
Steve
well thats true, the fur was bad in assault, but well they made a better krystal body, and well I liked more the assault arwings than those of the adventures.... the main problem was the change of company to do the game....RARE is good doing characters like the starfox team, and NAMCO is better in doing emmm "flying things"..... .....well personaly Peppy has a better look in assault than in adventures.. Guest Daz-fighter
I thought I was the only one who noticed how namco changed Starfox in this way. Adventures also had alot more charm than assualt, like the old pizza boxes in the great fox, the bikini foxgirl calander ect. also Rare gave all the characters personalaties which namco decided to leave out, and I hate the way namco gave Fox a massive forhead and really wierd teeth. The suits in assault I hate aswell, they seem too cheap and rushed and have no charm to em, at least when Rare changed em in adventures they still kept the same style. The only changes I like in assault are the abbility to hop in and out of your arwing when ever you want, I think that is just the sort of new idea Starfox needed to spicen things up a bit, and Im glad to see Namco kept Krystal in the game with her British accent! In all, I think Rare would of made a better Starfox Assault than Namco did. I hope Nintendo see these mistakes and make them better in the next StarFox game Plus I wanna see Krystal get a bigger part in the next game
Blaz3
Ok, now I have read you're posts, here is my opinion, I prefer Fox from Assault. He looks and sounds a bit more serious than he was, although, his voice sometimes doesn't match up to the way he is saying something I don't know about Falco. Slippy, well I don't care and Krystal was fine. General pepper in assault looked absolutely terrible!!! They really need to get rid of the dark places on him. I did like the Assault arwings. and just reading what you have said, some of you, I agree with. Fox definitely needs to have more emotion and the model of him could be greatly improved, Namco did not do a good job of the characters really. If nintendo could work off the Assault gameplay and make the character models and maybe voicings much better, than we have a clear winner of a Star Fox game.
