Guest Mithos Kionisu
Another Junkers model, sortof a mix between an F-16 and an F/A-18, looks to close to modern aircraft to fit in the starfox universe

Guest Mithos Kionisu
Let me put it this way, i need to increase the models size by 141158% to make them about the same size as normal models. Also, Fox McCloud is about 3 to 3 1/2 feet tall, I'll get the exact mesurement and the pictures after school

Guest Mithos Kionisu
I don't think I'm aloud to talk about how I do it on this forum, but I am willing to take requests for model rips, just tell me what you want (descriptions help, as most things dont have names) the name of the level and the part of the level its in. What I've learned about teh game from looking at the models: 1. There are 4 Models of the Great Fox - The corridor that everyone runs through in the opening scene - The interior shot of the hanger - The Grerat Fox shown in the opening scene (small) - The full sized Great Fox shown in all scenes that include any other vehicles 2. All cutscenes are rendered ingame, not pre rendered 3. There are three Arwing models - The Arwing spinning at the title screen - The two Arwings spinning at the select screen - The four Arwings shown ingame, each has the pilots head in it 4. Almost ALL detail is in the textures, the drones in the Katina level olny have 2- faces 5. The targeting reticles are faces attatched to the Arwing model ingame, as is the camera which gives you the point of view 6.The Great Fox Models are out of Proportion - The interior hanger is shown to be large enough for 4 Arwings to launch side by side - The exterior models hanger is only large enough for 1 Arwing to launch at a time - There is not enough room on the exterior model of the Great Fox to hold 4 Arwings, a Land Master, and a Blue marine, they would have trouble just storing the 4 Arwings on board. 7. The Great Fox in 64 is 1/4th the size of the Great Fox in Assualt 8. Fox, Falco, Slippy, and Peppy are out of proportion, their heads are too large for their bodies, I figure if the bodies were resized to match their heads, they would be much closer to the size of humans. Guest Mithos Kionisu
New ship, the Lancer Interceptor fighter of the Free Systems Commonwealth The Free Systems Commonwealth appears in the latter chapters of my story (I'm working on it I sware!) and act as the main enemy. The interceptor has speeds exceding that of the Arwing MK III (to be modeled next) and is armed with one Lancer cannon (right sponson) and twelve Variable Trajectory Missle (VTM) launchers* (6 in each of the two left sponsons) more models later. *The missles shown in the opening cutscene of Assualt (launched from the destroyers and stealth squadren) are Variable Trajectory Missles (basicly homing missles, I just like my name better ) the ones on the interceptor are of a smaller size and output

Dark Fox
Mithos Kionisu LOL ummmmmm, bills ship and Arwing (whitchever one of them is highest res, that maybe the title one), chars would be good too, but I am not shure how one would animate such a thing. the gf, althogh interesting would be too hard to make realistic. The cart an N64 uses dose not contain enough space for very much pre rendering.......
Guest Mithos Kionisu
The n64 carts have between 4 to 64(depending on the game) megabytes of storage, star fox 64 is 10.17 megabytes in size. The cartrages stored only the game data and save files, the n64 system handled everything else, including rendering. Regardless, no n64 game had prerendered cutscenes (everything you see is rendered real time at a constant 55-65 fps) and no n64 game used lod models (lod= level of detail, meaning there are 5 models, super high, high, medium, low, and super low. super high being the most detailed, only seen when very close, super low being the least detailed, only seen from very far away)
