Or to make it even easier, don't forget we have a huge gallery on the main site itself. http://gallery.starfox-online.net/

Most, if not all, the official renders, and several good screenshots as well.

C00L! I have found it! :D

There is a 'toolbox' on the lower-left

side of the main page (right below the

'search')

Click on 'Upload file'; you should be

able to upload it from here.

Now, go back to the article you wish to edit.

Click on the button 'embed file', or use the code:

Now, there is this other problem. I want to add

a description to the image, not make the text close

to it 'out of place'...

How I could do it?

Use a Pipe

This code produces an image with the alt text "Alt Text."

This code adds a caption. Note the |thumb|. That is the keyword that triggers a caption.

Ex:

Also, you do not have to timestamp your edits with your username.

Thank you, we will probably use many

of those.

AWEC00L, Thank you!  :D

I was doing what? *Lack-of-English-Language*  O_o

|EDIT|: Okay, I could do it! :)

But now the problem is that I need to aling the image to other

side of the page. I mean, there is the image and a description,

but it is 'attached' to the lower-right side of the page.

How I could change this?

Well, I have uploaded some images, and worked

a little more on  :sf64katt::katt: .

It seems to be going smoothly. However,

there is few people actually working on the

wiki, thought.

Okay, I've started to do some introductory work.  I've categorized all the images I've found so far in .  (They can be put into subcategories as the category becomes cluttered.)  I also tried to design a cross-wiki template Arwingpedia, but since it requires using [external link syntax], it has the annoying tendency to prompt you for captcha every single time you add/change it in an article.

I question why we would need to link to Arwingpedia. The objective of this wiki is to have a complete set if Star Fox information, thus such links would be redundant. I especially do not want other wikis to be sources for information either. I only want canon sources.

---

Be aware of which infoboxes you are using. I saw a character infobox used for a ship. There is a ship infobox and a vehicle infobox. Both are very similar to eachother, and would have fit a lot better.

Vehicle is used to describe generic vehicles, IE Arwing, Wolfen, Landmaster, Cornerian Fighter, Etc.

Ship is used to describe a specific, named, ship. IE Great Fox, Black Rose, Saruzin (Sector Y Boss' ship), etc.

Ship has a few extra properties, such as class and fate, that may be needed to describe a specific ship.

Yes, I think we should try to

gather enought information ourselves.

My fault, did not know that

there was a infobox for ships, sorry.

I need to spend more time wiki-edtiding.

Thank you DZComposer, I will try to do some

contributions, however small they may be,

here and there  :).

Ang I think we should see about removing the links to

Arwingpedia. After all, we should make this Wiki the

best we can.

Apologies for double post,

but I blew it up and I do not know

what is wrong.

I tried adding an image to the Great Fox's

article, and while did add it, now the infobox

seems broken...

How I could fix that?

Okay, I'll flag Arwingpedia for deletion.  Anyway I didn't intend it as a source of information, but simply providing as diverse content as possible - both SFO's, with a link to someone else's if it's also good.

By the way, when you say canon only, does this mean we can't do anything for the SNES games and comics?  Those are near and dear to my heart.

Of course, information of the comics and

SNES is VERY important as well.

What I intended to say was that we

should try to maintain the wiki as...

Uh... 'stand-alone' as possible.

SNES stuff is not only fine, but necessary. By "Canon" I mean not made up by fans to fill ploholes.

Is it alright if I start uploading lots of reusable resources?  Comics pages, Star Fox Command story images, artwork...

There's a glitch on the page about the Great Fox. Anyone know how to fix it?

How do you cite your sources? There is some information about Titania that I found on our Star Fox 64 website backup that I'd like to put in, but I don't know how to cite it.

Ahh, citations...I vaguely remember how to implement reference lists.  Let me refresh my notes, and see what I can do about preparing a decent template.

Alright, here's how you do references.

For each page that you want to have a formal reference list, add the template references near the bottom.  It will anchor the reference list.

Then, for each reference, you add an inline tag like so:

If you use the same reference more than once, you can avoid duplicating the same reference in the reference list by doing something like this:

etc. for each additional use.

Remember that the references template in the page is important - if you provide reference tags without anchoring the reference list, the page will generate an error in big red letters at the bottom.
