I guess I did something wrong when creating the links to the page. It said that Anglar didn't exist when I tried to link it.
Guest DRL
Quote Well, do you know why it's called "wiki"?"Wiki" is Hawaiian for "fast". :3 The edits can not only be made fast, but the markup can for the most part be learned real fast too. No one will give you much of a hard time for trying to edit and making an honest mistake. :3Yeah, I remember when I blew up'experimented' with th Great Fox's page... Good thing I could later fix it. :)
Dermot
I have an idea. This is inspired by Tolkien Gateway, another private MediaWiki-based non-Wikia site that attempts to be as complete as possible - it's also a wiki I myself have contributed a great deal to in the past.I'm thinking, Starfox-Online Wiki can use orthodox fanart for some of its page illustrations, as appropriate. This would be orthodox unofficial images of official characters without too much out-of-character embellishments.Tolkien Gateway does this same thing, and actually keeps pretty good selections of fanart in its images categories. It does not usually ask permission of artists to use them (citing fair use), but the artists often consider prominent usage on the wiki to be an honor. However, if it came down to it, permission of artists can be asked. This approach could greatly improve image selection options for characters, especially those that never had many official artworks published to begin with. Also, the wiki has been rather dead lately, except for some sporadic edits of my own. Has everyone lost interest in it? It still needs writers, contributors, all that stuff.

Remember, you don't have to be extremely skilled. You can start just writing material, and gradually learn formatting. But you practice by doing, even if you know nothing at first.
