rainfyre66
Don't really like ice cream...*Crowd goes: GASP!*Hear, hear Asper! I'm not a huge ice cream fan either (so no, just because I'm a chick doesn't mean I enjoy whining about boys and girly things over a tub of Ben & Jerry's while wearing designer sweat pants )But, if I so desire some, I like it very frozen...or from a soft serve machine (mmm, chocolate vanilla swirl...) Sol-Ratcht Saporro
LOLOLOL GAIZ, THIS IS A CAPS LOCK FIESTA!Dermot, you forget that there are different power outputs and settings for microwaves. 10sec on a 1000+w microwave is totally different from 10sec on a 800w microwave. Also, is the setting supposed to be on high, med, low? How's microwave ice cream supposed to look texture wise? I'm figuring like what I did and it came out semi-paste like. We've had the same microwave since 1990. Anyway, texture should still be frozen. It's only softer with a little bit more runniness.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
^I think you can just look at the back of the Microwave where the UL label is it should say. Oh really? I guess I nuked the ice cream too long. Oh damn, I just realized I have to fix my statement. It's redundant.
Redeemer
I microwave a mars bar into ice cream and add a little double cream, then I freeze it again. It's awesome. :D
CrypticQuery
Never thought of it, I always usually eat soft-serve, I dunno why though, I just like it better .

Guest Julius Quasar
Ice cream + Microwave = Ice cream soup. That's one way to make it. I myself just put lotsa [strawberry] syrup to add to the ice cream as is slowly melts. But I don't microwave it...just not for me...but to each his/her own. Guest Julius Quasar
.......... Why?.......... Why not? Gross.Don't knock it until you've tried it.I have used the microwave to melt my bowl of ice cream, and it was okay, but...just not to my preference. But I love a melted scoop of vanilla ice cream in either a root beer drink OR on a slice of hot apple pie. The heat of the pie melts the ice cream to a really good consistence, as the piece of pie itself crumbles and mixes with the ice cream....remember the a`la mode! evilwaffles
I don't microwave my ice-cream. If it is too hard then I just scoop it out with force (usually sending bits of ice-cream everywhere, but my dog loves it when I do that).

Nice to see someone remembers her.)Be careful that that ice cream isn't chocolate. Chocolate can easily give dogs heart attacks. (Same goes for cats and horses.) evilwaffles
Mine is always vanilla, I like it because I can put whatever topping I want on it. So my dog isn't in any real danger.(Oooh, a Fara avatar. Nice to see someone remembers her.)(Yeah, I have always liked her character, shame she isn't in any games).

Redeemer
Sweet cream? I've never heard of that flavour, what's it like?My favourite ice cream ever was scottish tablet ice cream. I've only ever had it once, in a restaurant with my boyfriend and his parents. It was basically vanilla ice cream with chunks of tablet through it, served with a seperate dish of melted tablet. Mmmmmm... Also, I love mint choc chip and cookies 'n' cream. :D

Sol-Ratcht Saporro
I tend to fancy variations of vanilla. Vanilla Bean > French Vanilla > VanillaUsed to love chocolate but yeah, I guess my taste buds prefer simple. Next after vanilla would be Cookies and Cream.
