Rules, disobay them bad things (don't) happen

In my crusades across the internet I notice one common element. All sites have rules. If a user posts something that disobeys these rules then the post is removed BUT there are no ramifications for the user. So the user simply can post another rule breaking packet at a later date and they will get away with it. Depending on what it is, the user who posts packets that are against the rules of the site never actually get into trouble, they just get told to not break the rules.

Now they will be FORCED not to fight.

Relating SFO...we are nice people. If someone gets in our nerves, we usually start throw warnings or bans. As a polite reminder to everyone,  don't get on our bad side  :)

Some sites I belonged to, there was a problem with the rules being selectively enforced.

Some members got special favors over others, just 'cause they were on the site as long time,

or they were good friends of the site staff, knew the site staff in real life,

or they had paid membership status and could do what they wanted as a result of that.

SF-O is not like that, thank God.

I'm quite a strict admin. If someone gives me reason to remove their post, one of three warnings comes with it.

Wow, this thread didn't get locked... I mean... SFO is a very good sight in keeping the rules. Ok, personally I might not agree with your means but you've got the right ends. Most sights I've been to though, have their teacher's trolls, as Quasar said.
