Redeemer
Make them stupid? That's absurd. My cats love it when I talk baby to them, Reno rolls over and wants his belly rubbed. Nina isn't so cutesy, but she gives "affectionate eyes". Basically, I read on a cat behavious website that if a cat blinks slowly at you, it means "I'm your friend", "I mean you no harm" or "I love you". Cats that are friends do it to each other all the time, and if you actually blink like this to a cat, they should do it back. Nina and I talk like that sometimes.I talk to them normally too, mainly when I'm just speaking my thoughts but I direct it at them because if gives me comfort. Like when you see someone in a movie and they look at their dog, and they say "Yeah, I should call him" and the dog cocks its head. That's always a classic scene. Showtime 1-1
I don't think there is anything that can warm a heart better then a litter of tiny kittens. They are beyond cute. Dangerously cute. Our miniature poodle had puppies when she was 12 years old. Yes, that's old for a dog. We even thought she was spayed... Anyways, we kept one out of the four (the others went to other well-deserving families), now we have cute little 4-year old Sunny.

Dublinthefox
One time my family took care of this newborn cat that was like the size of those beany babies you get at McDonalds. Her name was pixy. Unfortunately she didn't last that long though. :(
