We actually have a theory on that. Ancient Sauria was explored by outsiders, hence their language. We believe these outsiders were Cerinians. That explains why those plants give your staff powers and How She was able to talk to the Dinasuars. Dino talk is Cerinain.

It's a good theory, no? I'll go find the thread.

Could be, but then again, she might've just learned it for the mission she was on to capture all the Krazoa Spirits, I meanhow could she understand them by only speaking english?

Krystal: You know a Krazoa Spirit?

EarthWalker: Nxuk aj jxo juoadw?

Krystal: Krrrrraaaazooooooaaaa.

EarthWalker: Den jxo'j jfoubadw jcenoh, cabo kxuk'j weadw ke olod xocf.

Krystal: Whatever I'm outta here.

That so needs to be a comic strip, it would look so awesome!

*doesn't expect Dwight to get this one*

Arrggh! Must learn to draw freehand!

I could do a stick comic?! But no, I'll do something else instead. As far as the ship theory, I think you guys have it backwards. Krystal needed a transport to Sauria in the first place. In my mind, the events of pre-Adventures are:

1. Krystal is doing something (exploration, freak event) that causes her to be in space at the time of her planet's doom.

2. Krystal searches Lylat for answers in the ship she was in.

3. Krystal gets Distress Signal and lands on Sauria.

4. Krystal sees nearby Cloudrunner and with the help of her psychic powers, she is able to ask Kyte for help in locating the signal more specifically.

Then, after who or whatever pushed Krystal into the beam, the Sharpclaw commandeer her ship. The first thing it is used for is transporting the kidnapped prince.

At the end of the game, Krystal recovers her ship and returns to orbit. And it is HER ship as she refers to it as being hers in some unused audio from the ROM.

But, everyone says it was her ship! Now I'm confused, and it's all because Krystal wasn't explained!

*shrugs*

MB she stole it from the Sharpclaw, or mb its one of those things that just doesnt have a bacstory, such as he designers at rare were to lazy to make a ship for krystal (or couldnt think of a good design) so they just reused a model from earlyer in the game that players might not even remember seeing

Nope, not long enough, not enough info. they need to make Krystals own game to know what her past had to do with.

Hmm, don't get me wrong here, but...that wouldn't be fair. She's interesting, but she's not the only character with a "mysterious past".

For pretty much everyone, they don't give a whole lot of info...it would be nice to figure out at least why Cerinia was destroyed or even just how. Thing is, it's an action game...I figure the games would have to be longer in order to put all this stuff in, but that might also slow down the feel of the game; action has to be fast-paced, right?

It would be fantastic if they could give us a little more to go on in each game...maybe make a comic (one that's more realted to the game, that is) or even a TV series to help fill the gaps!

Krystal's 19, right? Heh love knows no age...I guess XD

naaaaa.....personaly i think they made a huge mistake in the time lap between the starfox 64 and adventures.....10 years is to much.....well ....but.....they could make more stories of what happened in those 10 years....at least to know more of the story of why falco leave , maybe the story of krystal, i dont know, but if they keep making the time laps between the games like that fox will be get old.....

Nintendo need to make a game explaining her past....Like a title could be..."Starfox: Krystal Chronicles" for all i care....I just want a game explaining her past and fox and krystal need to make love sometime I mean they were in love enough at the end of Adeventures enough to have a kissig scene...Seriously....THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE ONE IN ASSAULT!! Thats a full year later in the SF history...wow That long and no love....Ok just make a game thats in the future (after assault) w/ a love scene and an explination to her past....

Dont you all agree?

You're mis-informed. Okay, for ages:

At the time of Adventures (according to the Japanese site): Fox = 26, Krystal = 19, Slippy = 26, Peppy = 49.

The instruction manual for Assault says that Assault occurs 1 year after Adventures, so in Assault: Fox = 27, Krystal = 20, Slippy = 27, Peppy = 50.

The instruction manual for Adventures says that Adventures occurs only 8 years after Starfox 64, so in Starfox 64: Fox = 18, Krystal = 11, Slippy = 18, Peppy = 41.

Then, we already know why Falco left. It was explained in an online comic originally posted on the official Stafox Adventures homepage. It's no longer there, but you can find the comic here and it's been translated. The comic says that Falco left the team 4 years before Adventures.

Timeline:

Starfox 64 + 4 years = Falco left + 4 years = Adventures + 1 year = Assault

It's alright Dwight- and yeah, Krystal Chronicles would be a good name! But then it would totally have to make games for the other characters- because if you think of it... what's Slippy's, Peppy's or Falco's background, or more defined.

... we probably never see her own game...

No offense, but...Krystal Chronicles? Come on now, you can be a little more clever than that XD

It wouldn't make sense or be very fair if she got her own game...if they could make a long enough game to fill in some gaps with all the characters while maintaining the fast pace, I think that would make more fans happy...I think.

Or, maybe they should go about making a HUGE StarFox game that explains everyone's backgrounds... a different storyline for each playable character, and have their roles in each SF game to date. So in the end the original StarFox would have redone Arwings and Revolution graphics to it, and Andross wouldn't be a plate spitting head, he'd likely look more like he did in 64 or Adventures. And maybe they could fix that out of this dimension glitch... :x

Basically, how'd they go about doing this would be:

In the new game, take ALL of the old SF games and redo them graphicswise and everything, even the original SF, and put them all into one game, and for the periods in between the games (or levels even) have the parts put in for each character's storyline to fill everything in. (playable portions on different planets, events on different planets, cutscenes, what have you) And to top it off, after you beat all the 4 previous games, you start the NEW game then, the fifth one. But the StarFox storyline would be MUCH more complete if a game like this came out, and I think that's what we're all wanting to see.

So basically, if you played through as Wolf for example, you would be trying to shoot Fox down at every encounter except for in the waning missions of SF Assault. And then you'd go through the fifth game as him too. And for example, the period between StarFox 64 and Assault (for Wolf and his team) they could explain why Andrew went to go command Andross's troops and how they got the new Wolfens and such.

But in the case of Krystal, it could fill in everyone on her background, where Cerinia is, and how she fits into the Lylat System, how she came to Sauria, how she got her staff, and so on and so forth.

With the Revolution coming out, I think they could pull it off. What do you think? I'd LOVE to see a multi-disc StarFox game. The more the better.
