Redeemer
The new Zelda! It's beautiful! *swoon*Opinions, E3 watchers? And Shiggy was awesome. The game, it's like a mix of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess... The whip looks awesome! I don't think Shiggy did an overly good job of demonstrating it, and there was "interference", but I think it looks good. Not as good as Twilight Princess, but good all the same. My all time favourite one was Ocarine of Time, but I guess you'll never see that kind of awesome again. Those were wonderful days.
Guest Para Astaroth
Hmph, Legend of Zelda... *Spits to the side* Has too many humens!!
Redeemer
Yes that is true, but humens are better than combines!Oh come on, no Zelda fans? When I was a kid I skipped between playing Star Fox and Zelda. They were my two best friends. Actually Astaroth, don't you mean too many Hylians?
Guest Para Astaroth
No -- humens. STOP THE HUMENS!!! Well, I am sort of a Legend of Zelda fan, but the only one I enjoyed the most and beaten was the Wind Waker. I don't know, but I think it was, at its time, the best Zelda game so far. Fans may differ, but I liked it's storyline and humor more than the others. Steve
I'm more of a Zelda fan first than anything else, and I must say, I hope they keep working on the title, it doesn't look "innovating ", I was hoping to see mind blowing stuff, and they went back to cell shaded graphics?, I wanted to see the same dark style used in twilight princess (improved version, obviously). I guess Ocarina of time was the best of the best, I wonder why they decided to derivate from the formula. Then again, this is just the beginning, maybe it will turn out to be great. Redeemer
Well I think it will surprise us. Keep your chin up Steve, I'm sure it'll be enjoyable. I can't wait to get my hands on it. And I agree, I wanted to see more graphics like TP, but I must admit, the call shading pleasantly surprised me!
Steve
Sure, Cell shaded graphics can be good (Red Steel 2), but when it comes to titles like Zelda, it will mean that the game might be "silly focused" instead of all "Serious and dark". And well ,so far, the environments and enemies seem to be pulled from Wonderland.
Redeemer
True, cell shaded gives is a comical feel. And the monsters, they still have deku baba and deku sprouts. And I think the big guys were moblins.
rainfyre66
I'm a bit disappointed by the graphic style choice for Skyward Sword, not what I was expecting, especially after seeing the concept art and older Link rumors. I was really hoping for a more refined TP-style look, we have enough "cartoony" style Zeldas...Oh well, I guess kudos to them for trying something new (supposedly, Shiggy wanted it to resemble an Impressionist painting style. I can dig that.). I just hope it's as epic as we all hope it will be. (And for the record, I LOVE Twilight Princess and felt the epicness of the end result matched the hype. Sure it's a little derivative of other titles, but overall it is a great, immersive game that damn near matches OoT.)
Redeemer
Yeah I was looking forward to a darker, more mature Zelda but I guess this one's just as good. I can't wait to play it. :D

The cel-shaded graphics merely enhanced the mood. It wasn't all bright and sunny. And on THAT note, Twilight Princess had plenty of bright and happy moments, as well as silly jokes. My basic complain is the change from Twilight Princess to this. Then again, it's too early too complain, and I'm going to get the game anyways, so I can see myself eating my own words after seeing more news about the game :P

Especially with that weird shop... I was singing that theme for the entire week when it opened in my game. I danced like that too. Sort of like "belly-thrusting". Star Fox Runner
Wind Waker had it's very dark moments, there was some pretty serious crap in there, especially at the end with Ganondorf's descent into madness. So I don't think Skyward Sword will be as light hearted as it looks. Though with every Zelda game, it HAS to have funny parts, that's what gives Zelda it's charm! What interests me most is this! They said that Skyward Sword would explain the creation of the Master Sword. In fact, the sword IS CALLED the Skyward Sword, but becomes the Master Sword later. This most definitely means that Skyward Sword has usurped Ocarina of Time's position as the very first story in the Zelda timeline.

Sapphire
I would be a Zelda fan if the game wasn't so freakin hard to beat ugggg lol
Vy'drach
Only Zelda I've played that gave me trouble beating it (which I still haven't done) is Windwaker for gameboy. OoT and Twilight Princess (only thing about TP is it has so many false climaxs. You think you're beating the game since you acquired the items you need, but NO! You now need to get these, so you get them, and NO, you now need these, and you're thinking it has to be the end of the game, but the game tells you to *Beep* off, and you need to get MORE shit) weren't hard, just lengthy (which isn't a bad thing). Vy'drach
Adventures gets to me, since one Krystal becomes trapped in crystal (lawl), I am obligated to beat it. And once she contacts you saying she is dying, I can not stop playing it until I beat it.

But why is the dying if she's only stuck in a crystal?
