sjrathbun812
That's good...I didn't really mind the text talk, but I prefer actual words instead of this, "Blah Blah hisdofhgubfug" stuff.
Star Fox Runner
That's good...I didn't really mind the text talk, but I prefer actual words instead of this, "Blah Blah hisdofhgubfug" stuff. That raises the question, who is voicing the characters this time around? Will they keep Assualt's VAs, are they gonna track down the original VAs from 64 and re-record the lines, or are they simply going to recycle the old voice clips? DZComposer
My guess is they'll either go back to "Ba dabba da dabba di bibbit" or just re-use SF64 voices. If they saved everything, they may even have the uncompressed recordings which would sound better. It doesn't make good business sense to re-cast and re-record all of that. Dragon Fox 05
From the 5 second vid I've seen of SF 3DS (japan), there definitely are voices, and it sounded like Kenji Nojima, who voiced Fox in Japanese Assault. However, Nojima was not the same voice actor for 64, so my guess is that Japan just might be is crazy enough to re-record all the dialogue (can anyone here read Japanese?). Whether this will be the same for SF 3DS America, we'll have to wait and see. We do tend to be lazy when it comes to translating and voice acting... I don't know how, its just a guess.

CrypticQuery
Judging by that 5 seconds of StarFox 64 3D gameplay from that trailer that was earlier posted, Japanese voice actors have returned, and I have high hopes for voiceovers for North America. Hopefully they'll stick to the original clips though :P
StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
Hold on a second everyone. How is going to say: "To do a barrel roll, Press Z or R twice" if there is no "Z" button on the 3DS??All jokes aside, they will have to edit the voice-overs somewhat. For example, do you really want to hear Slippy's voice screaming at you through those speakers? If they are louder than the original DS speakers were.... Basically, they might have to alter the sound a bit...

Dragon Fox 05
No question. As we already said, it wouldn't make sense to use the old recordings. There isn't a Z button on the 3DS, unless they wanna make a last minute change because of that one game. :3 But, is true, America is pretty lazy. The Shaper
I've noticed the prices you guys are talking about and if it is expensive, then it might be so that they don't need to make a new star fox game for a few decades. (Sorry if you can't understand what I said there)
StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
I presume you are making an exageration there right? As far as I can remember, Nintendo does not usually put off an announced game unless it is not finished (example would be SSBB). They usually deprive the fanbase of information for a few months. If need be, they make an official statement that a project is cancelled. Otherwize it should be presumed that they are working on a game until it is released. Well maybe, but considering the price they want for this, and the fact that it's been almost 5 years since the last game came out, and even more so this is a prequel rather then a sequel they probably don't want to make another star fox game anytime soon after this one.
