My friend was able to afford to go (Damn the need to buy food with my money. Stupid mom) and I wasn't able to. He played the demo of a couple of games on it, and said it was amazing.

Oh I see.

On topic: Sometimes I think that maybe getting Starfox 64 3DS wouldn't be a bad idea................But then I'd have to get a REALLY expensive hand held first.

So I guess I don't know if I'll get or not. *shrugs* we'll see.

I doubt it will be really expensive. Nintendo has never priced a handheld over $200, and they want to keep price down. That's the main reason why the Wii wasn't as powerful as other consoles this generation is Nintendo wanted to keep it sub-$200 and still make a profit (Nintendo doesn't take loss-leaders like MS and Sony do).

Actually, as Mr. Krystal stated in one of his podcasts, there weren't that many HDTVs at the time of Wii release, so it didn't need to be as powerful.

The price doesn't matter. StarFox is StarFox.

There are plenty of games in the new lineup that I would like to get. But if I can only afford to get one game with the 3DS, it will be SF643D, maybe Ocarina of Time 3D if finances allow for a second game.

I'm getting the feeling that the 3DS itself is going to have a supply shortage like the Wii did, any ideas on how to get it before supplies run out?

Cool, I hope you're right, though that sounds feasible.

I hope it's within a reasonable price range as well. The 3DS will hopefully be under $200, and the SF643D Game will most likely be $60 or $50. According to GameStop ;)

well, i hope they have a 3DS with a star fox cover or decal, i would pay money for that!

YES, YES, YEEEEESSSS!!!!! :D.  I swear, if they have a f*cking Mario skin but no StarFox, I'll be pissed.  Just to say, I'm surprised  they didn't announce a new FZero game for 3DS, it would be perfect.
