Ellanie
I thought about the reboot idea, too. It's unlikely, but hell, so was the idea of games like this getting remade. It could go either way. There is one thing I thought might be a reason for a reboot that's a bit odd; Fox and crew are getting older. Considering most endings in Command finished with a tone that had half the characters ready to settle down and move on to other things (Save poor Falco who kind of got kicked aside since he has no one to make babies with ), Command felt somewhat like an end, and the endings that didn't would be really difficult to jump from.Either Amanda is shoehorned into the team without any knowledge of what she can add, or Krystal is a nasty bitch on Starwolf and Fox is a sad pathetic lump, or Marcus. Or, Falco convinces Fox to forget about Krystal and StarFox and run away with him to become a space racer.
Tiberius
I am going to make this very blunt. Star Fox: Adventures is NOT Star Fox, AT ALL. It shouldn't even have been popular. It's what made Assault a flop for a time until word spread that it actually felt like Star Fox.Star Fox: Adventures should really be, Adventures in Furry Land. And seeing as Im the soul representative of the human population (that I know of), that doesn't sound right to main gaming population. AT ALL.Star Fox is about flying, shooting and a space opera, not a dinosaur planet using a stick to beat the crap out of reptiles, and any spiritual/religous value (thus why Star Trek: VI sucked). End of discussion. And by the way, "What does God need with a starship?"

Hell, it'd be MUCH better if a new team emerged (and Marcus is a horrible way to start it. No one wants a light blue fox with a callic to lead Star Fox. AND ORANGE IS BAD.) like in the roleplay I'm trying to get started again (which is that I know of record popularity on SF-O rp boards).
LoneWolf
Adventures in Furry Land. That pretty much sums it up.Star Fox is about flying, shooting and a space opera, not a dinosaur planet using a stick to beat the crap out of reptiles, and any spiritual/religous value (thus why Star Trek: VI sucked). End of discussion. But why do so many fans love adventures? In otherwords, omg. She has boobs. There's your reason. If they do have to reboot the series, I hope that they'll bring back some other SF females as well, specifically Miyu, or maybe Fara. StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
I'm getting a little worried about the voice acting being changed up. So basically I was lurking over on AL for a bit. According to one of the users on that site, specifically 'QueenBEAUTY' :"All right, another silly thought. Simply curious on who's voicing who. I know that the Japanese voices for Falco, Peppy, Slippy, and Leon have stayed throughout. I'm just curious on who's replacing Pigma's, because his seiyuu died earlier this year (Daisuke Gori, rest in peace... ). Also, Fox and Wolf got new voices in Assault when the cast expanded, but I think that their first voices (Shinobu Satouchi and Hisao Egawa, respectively) worked for their younger counterparts better...For those who are curious...SF64 Seiyuus;Fox, Leon: Shinobu SatouchiFalco, Wolf: Hisao EgawaSlippy, Katt: Kyoko TonguuPeppy, James: Tomohisa AsoPigma, Andross, General Pepper, and most of the villans: Daisuke GoriAndrew, Bill: Daisuke Sakaguchi"What do the rest of you think? Is this a sign that the english version may be tweaked with a bit as well? Does anyone here know the voice acting cast of the entire character list in the english version? (Other than Fox being done by Mike West of course...)

StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
^^^Generaly, not too much. Realistically, some fans are going to go nuts over this type of thing. I mean, who was it that begged Nintendo to make a game "like SF64"? The extremist fans. Who would most likely be bothered by the slightest change to the game (even if it has nothing to do with the canon storyline)? You guessed it, those same nutty fans that ruin it for everyone else. Dragon Fox 05
what I'm most interested in is, what will the multiplayer be like? If it's the same as 64 with added features I'll be happy, but will they do something like 16 player online battles. Now THAT will rock :)
StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
^^^That would be a lot better, considering they would need to completely redo the multipler versions of Katina and Sector Z. (in the case of Sector Z, you practically had no vision) In the case of Katina.... I mean really, was that base thing in the center Katina ever much of an obstacle unless you were trying to take out an opponent who was using a landmaster hiding behind it? Maybe they should just let you use more multiplayer levels like say for exapmle...Fortuna!You know what the problem was with the all-range mode sections of the levels? The landscape was usually too flat, and it felt like there was not much for me to avoid, unless of course we are talking about the Corneria multiplayer level. That was great. You could dive in between the buildings to shake off your opponent.Just one last thing.....AI MULTIPLAYER OPPONENTS PLEASE!!! Hopefully, they let you use the different combinations of teams like in Assault. If they were to let you have 16 player matches (like you said), imagine the intensity of those 8-on-8 matches!
The Shaper
I personally hope that it has multiplayer period. Of course it would be awesome to have an 8-on-8 match.
